Fantastic Service

We use our Gas boiler all year round as it heats our water for Showers. Last week I noticed the water pressure was low and I was afraid our boiler would stop working. I phoned DeWar and one of their plumbers came to my aid and had everything sorted in minutes.
We have used DeWar now for atleast 4 years and they provide a great service and they work around me and will always notify me 1hr before their plumber arrives everytime. Brilliant Service.

Outstanding service

Outstanding service, they called out for free to give me a quote for a new boiler, came back two days later and replaced the boiler. The installer was very tidy, nice attitude and easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend.

Fitted new boiler and new rads

Fitted new boiler and new rads, and all plumbing for new kitchen, very nice lads and did a great job with everything, cleaned up everything afterwards, came back immediately for a small issue with pressure and everything is perfect now, would highly recommend

Annual Boiler Service …

I used Dewar again for my annual boiler service, and as always, they did a great job. The technician was on time, professional, and carried out a thorough check of the system. Everything was inspected, cleaned, and tested to make sure the boiler’s running efficiently and safely. It’s reassuring to have a team that knows what they’re doing and takes the time to do it right.

I was getting some work done on outside of home

I was getting some work done on the outside of my home recently and needed pipes and taps moved. Ben was just great to deal with. Nothing was a problem for him and team. The work was carried out really well and quickly. Place was left clean and tidy. Would really recommend them. I will be using them again for sure.

Excellent

Excellent in all respects in installing an outdoor tap. Joanna understood our specific requirements and Ben the plumber arrived on time agreed and carried out a very neat installation. Would not hesitate to call DeWar again for any plumbing job.

New Boiler - no customer service - no 24/7

Firstly - they are not 24/7 as advertised - no out of hours service even for a boiler they installed 4 weeks ago and it’s STILL not sorted.

Originally Took a day off work for inspection - scheduled new boiler install

Took the day off work for the original install - cancelled on the day - that’s ok - things happen.

Boiler then installed and issues since - also understandable.

Plumber came back out to check - condensate pipe and burner issue - suggested redoing the piping to the correct standard - found a lump of material in the pvc pipe - possible issue .

Issue not rectified so I message the plumber to update him directly - booked in for 29th .

Took day off on 29th and no show - getting a bit ridiculous as we are now 4 weeks after the install with no urgency to fix the issue.

Joanne claims she called but they only called me today (30th) - I missed the call and have the timestamp of the voicemail.

The website claims 24/7 plumbing , but Joanne is adamant that ‘nobody will be coming on the weekend’

Not true - Joanne was quite angry that I demanded a Saturday as with a busy work schedule we cannot take another day off.

I am beyond frustrated - in order to manage expectations of customers - I really advise you either change your website and hours - or provide the service you claim to provide.

Bordering on the edge of false advertising.

Very disappointing service from DeWar

Very disappointing service from DeWar, very much recommend you do not purchase a heating system from them or use them for the annual service. There are alternatives that are cheaper and better.

AVOID for your own good

Absolute scam artists do not let these people near your home , They have left 2 pensioners without proper washing facilities for nearly 2 months now with nothing but excuses , they have dangerously wired showers and put people at risk due to complete incompetence
They have blamed everyone but themselves even though manufacturer and all has advised that they had wired incorrectly after a visit ( another delay tactic ) They have no Safe operating procedures on jobs and have even gone to the extent of blaming an old woman when they fitted an incorrect unit . I would hate to see anyone else fall victim to these con men and would advise to get work done by people that actually know what they are doing , I am still waiting for this to be resolved

Shocking service.

Shocking service.

I paid in advance for a simple boiler service.

They didn’t turn up FOUR times over the course of a month. And they ended up refunding.

Completely incompetent.

Avoid at all costs.

My first ever review. Dewar were a no show, didnt even bother to call to say they wont make it. Left us sitting there like fools. Even crossed my mind that I'd been hacked as paid in advance. I'll know in 3 to 5 days...

Unfortunately I am writing a negative…

Unfortunately I am writing a negative review. I had used Dewar services about 2years ago and found the plumber to be very skilled and knowledgeable. However on 3 separate occasions now I have made bookings online and pre paid and they have not honoured the appts made. When talking to the customer service agents they act like the customer is at fault for trusting the online booking system. I had booked a boiler service for this morning and once again nobody showed up. When I contacted customer service they said they were too busy and could not honour the appt. The issues with their online booking system have never been dealt with and they are continuing to allow customer to book and pay in advance for services that they cannot provide. Completely avoid if possible
