From awesome to horrible
Has become horrible in the past it was awesome, I was always listening to hardcore uk, but when it changes all the liveshows are gone, no mix, between every tune there is a silence it's so annoying, i was a premium member but in cancel it when it all changed all it's not worth anymore, i even stop listen to di.fm
Today I became again a member, still you have the quiet between tune, no mixes so far, there was just a hardcore show after i lost my connection the hardcore show was gone and again tune with silence horrible I think about to channel my membership again, the hotcore Bay show somehow disappeared
Why destroy something good to make it bad I don't understand that
In the past di.fm was really awesome but now it's gone to the worst there is, even not one star
If that change I will remove this review but for now it is as it is
Disregard negative reviews for those who want something for nothing
If you're into electronic music, this has you covered. Can't be bothered with ads, so premium is the only way to go.
Great service going on 8 years now
Good song started and they cut it off…
Good song started and they cut it off for two advertisements - song was over
Love di.fm, premium is too expensive though
Always loved listening to di.fm for over 15 years probably now? Decided to try out premium simply because of how annoying the ads are, not necessarily because there are ads but just because the ads are bad or annoying like the recent COVID ones. Got used to turning the volume down whenever they come on although not sure I'll stick with premium after this as the music quality isn't that much of a change for my ears to be worth the high price. Would definitely subscribe if it was cheaper though. Most the music I listen to on here is very old anyway so not sure what I am really gaining. Would prefer some better options maybe a smaller fee for a limited number of channels or something?
Most bad reviews are because the ads
Most bad reviews are because the ads, but the paid version is excellent because offers options to listen high quality without ads and you can listen using vlc or other player.
One complaint is that some channels reprises the same music a lot during the day
I'm just here to write a 5-star review…
I'm just here to write a 5-star review for this website because I can't believe it only has 2.8 at the moment. I've listened to di.fm for about 5 years now. For a little while there were some problems with it telling me to disable adblock, even after I'd already disabled it, but that problem is now fixed.
I see some reviews are complaining about too many ads... well that's nonsense. The music is basically non-stop. Every now and again there's a longish stream of ads, for maybe 2-3 minutes, but it's nowhere near as bad as people say. It's literally about 30 minutes of non-stop music at a time, for free! What's the big deal!?
The selection of music is excellent too. I never thought there would be radio streaming available for some of the genres on di.fm. It seems to be growing too.
Great service anyway, whether you're listening to the free or premium version.
Upate: Reduced to 4 stars for the brazen spam advert reply I just got below.

great music - obnoxious ads
Love the music but the ads are extra annoying - every 5-10 minutes (not 20, thank you) and always the same highly annoying ones over and over again. I get it, the aim is to get listeners to go Premium but you won't get that by killing them by making sure the ads are extra obnoxious. I've had my share for a while...agh

Itunes subscription keeps dropping
Ive been with DIFM for a few years. I subscribed through Itunes for the premium service. However over the last year the account would drop off premium every month. I would write an email and they would reinstate the service. Each time asking me to drop the Itunes subscription in favor of the direct CC billing. I eventually told them I was cancelling due to regularly opening the app to ads when I was a paid premium member and the response was " great to hear your cancelling!" "please consider direct billing in future"... I will say they have been responsive and apart from very little updates in the Ambient / chill stations, its high quality streams and is on Carplay.

3-4 Ads in a row each 5 minutes
3-4 Ads in a row each 5 minutes. Just block the service make it paid only if you think you're worth it.

Been a customer since the year 2000
I have been a customer for 20 years and I immediately signed up for the premium service the same day it was announced over a decade ago. I still enjoy the radio stations (di.fm, radiotunes etc) and I listen to them weekly. It would be nice if they had an app like Spotify has for Windows 10 so that we don't have to go to a website though. Keep it going!
I already disabled all Adblocks etc
I already disabled all Adblocks etc. but still in every Browser di fm advised me to disable the Adblock. I like to notice that i was 2 years a Premium Member, its like Radio, if you listen every day you will hear repeated songs etc, DI FM uses some Mixes/shows from other djs which is nothing special, why i said that, if you hunt after the dj/show you will see that you get those for free on their websides or soundcloud and so on. and the stream list is full of such shows.
We have 2020, i watched now this side over 3 years, its time to move on because di fm behaves not customer friendly and anyoing me all time to disable my adblock even if it is disabled.
You better save your money !!!

Been a listener for over 15 years.
I have been a listener since 2002. I have been a premium listener for the last 7 years. I have to say that the service DI.FM offers is good. The channels I listen to seem to have fresh content every time I tune in. Overall, I can't complain about the desktop experience and the Android app is stable. The fact that one subscription is valid for DI.FM, Radiotunes.com, and Rockradio.com is a value addition.
WIll cancel Premium cs no update on my fav Chanel
I am Premium Member since 2016. A full Range of Chanels are nice. But - i am there for the "Future Garage" Chanel. Sadly, i can not feel there is any updating in the Chanel (or way to less)Also they played only a handfull of Artists, but there are lot of more in the Genre. After a few years there is toooo less new tracks - i can dream the Playlist. this is why i will cancel the Premium Membership. thanks for a good time but it is boring to hear all the time the same tracks. PS - let me know About erfreshing this Chanel - i would come back as well!

binding, non-refundable service, but they won't tell you that
Note: i have been an user of DI.fm for more than 6 years. Music offer is great, but one would be mistaken to think that Mikey from the used-car dealership runs the billing department. Here is why:
DI.fm premium is a binding, non-refundable service, but they won't tell you that upfront. Neither when signing up for premium, nor in the receipt. They have no refund policy, so if you pay for 2 years, you are stuck with it for the whole period.
In the receipt, DI.fm misleads you by claiming that you can manage your subscription anytime. They will not tell you that any billing changes will be effective from the next billing period onwards. So basically you can't change anything, really. But you can manage it, whatever that means.
Most subscriptions everywhere, including all reputable streaming services (netflix, amazon, itunes, etc), do have a refund policy, where you usually have a notice period of running month + 1 month or something like this. Understandable, since this is a non-perishable service (ie whether you are subscribed or not does not affect the offer nor value of the service, like, say, streaming a live event)
Note that the complaint is about not telling users in advance that this is a binding, non-refundable service. Worse, misleading their users by saying that they can "manage" the subscription, which they can't --not until next bill.
That's how Mikey from the used-car dealership would do. With a smirk.

Great service and great music :)
Was listening DI.FM for 5 years under free account.
After years and years of great music I decided to take premium subscription. Listening over Denon AVR on 320k, it makes great everyday/whole day music enjoyment for just 40€ yearly.
Mobile app, web app, hardware compatibility is what I like and to have DI.FM everywhere. Great service and great music :)
It was great, until...
It was a superb place for music. Now, it only tells me to disable my AdBlocker... which i don't have on the browser i'm using for this. Forcing people to go premium much? Sad.
[Edit]
Actually, it's in all browsers now. As soon as i login, i get to listen maybe 5 minutes, then the "Disable AddBlocker" comes up. Game over. Bye bye

Amazing
Digitally imported is must have for electronic music fans. Sound quality is great, it's simple to use, they have playlists and many episodes of shows. I have premium subscription so i can stream at high sound quality and there are no ads. Premium subscription is pretty cheap considering some other services.
Best trance streams out there
Best trance streams out there. I can just listen for hours without getting bored but ... you have to chew the adds from time to time (the frequency is reasonable though). Small bugs here and there, still the best I can find.
