Missing goods

Ordered a pack - ereader, stylus, cover. Only the e reader arrived. I will be following up with the consumer watchdog as I now have to spend more money and buy the cover and stylus. Lesson learnt and I will shop with the regular guys from now on.

Complete duds

I ordered 4x twin packs of Nanoleaf downlights which were on back order.
19 days later they tell me they are discontinued, which is rubbish!
These lights were a Christmas gift and now I have to order them elsewhere which means they won’t arrive in time.
Thanks for nothing!
Avoid this mob!

Poor communication

I placed an order two weeks ago and have not received any updates, despite sending multiple follow-up emails. Communication has been very poor. If an order cannot be dispatched within the promised timeframe, customers should be informed promptly. I’ve now had to request a cancellation and refund due to the delay. Very disappointing experience.

False stock advertising and non-existent support

Ordered an item for a Christmas that indicated it was in stock, as many other websites did not have it and it seemed like a reputable option. A couple of days after placing the order I received an email from them to say that the item was on back order and would take 3-4 weeks to arrive (ETA after Christmas). I immediately sent an email to support to ask them to cancel the order and did not received a response for over a week. Decided to lodge a PayPal dispute and it was refunded by PayPal instantly. DigiDirect then had the audacity to send an email asking how their support was, yet they still never responded to my email or reached out in any way. Useless company and if I hadn't paid via PayPal I'm sure this would have dragged on a lot longer.

Only if I could get a new camera and promise them the money later...?
I don't wish misfortune to anyone, but camera buyers will be better off when this company goes under.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! Emails never acknowledged (other than an automated response), Facebook messenger is clearly a bot so a waste of time - literally no customer service! I had to raise a dispute through PayPal for a refund - thankfully PayPal can be relied upon. Seriously, regardless of the price, DON’T DO IT! I would give zero stars if I could!

Buyer Beware- no customer care

I have used Digidirect over the last 4 years, regularly. As time goes on, the customer service has become worse. Last year I ordered over $20K worth of gear and had to chase up three missing items over two months.
They don't honour price matching and are hard to get on over the phone for support. For the sake of saving a few dollars, I wouldn't recommend.

Selling tech that’s discontinued

I ordered an iPad Pro (M4) during the Black Friday sale because digiDirect advertised it as available. Weeks later, they emailed me saying the product was “discontinued and no longer available.”
However, the exact same item was STILL listed for sale on their website after they cancelled my order. Completely unacceptable and misleading.

I reached out to customer support with a reasonable goodwill request (especially since I missed out on Black Friday deals elsewhere because I chose to support a smaller business). They never replied. Not even a simple acknowledgement. I ended up receiving the refund before they bothered responding to my email.

Their “live chat” support is just a useless bot that can’t help with anything, and there is zero ability to reach an actual person. For a company taking payments for high-value electronics, this level of customer service is shocking.

I will never purchase from digiDirect again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them. If anything goes wrong with your order, you’ll be left with no support, no communication, and no resolution.
Very disappointing experience from start to finish.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER use Digi Direct. They will happily sell you items online that aren't in stock or haven't been in stock for months, with no warning or 'out of stock' notification. They then wait for the customer to call them asking where their purchase is, only to be told it's out of stock. Refunds are slow and take mulitple business days to return. Shady business practices. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Customer service is non existent

I accidentally ordered the wrong mic - AT2040 instead of the AT2040USB - the mic is no use to me I cannot connect it to my computer. I have contacted support 3 times in 11 days and nothing back. I have written it off now and will have to try and sell it on Facebook marketplace and rebuy the correct one - and it will NOT be from Digidirect

Awful experience

Awful experience. My item was listed as in stock, so I paid for express delivery. After more than a week with no update, I called and was told it actually wasn’t in stock and had been delayed in dispatch. They still can’t give me a tracking number, and I’m honestly wondering if my order will ever arrive.

They offered me a $6 refund (after I paid $15 for delivery) or a $15 store credit, which doesn’t feel fair. Contacting them is painful, the process is slow, and the call centre staff have been unhelpful and borderline rude. Sharing this as a warning to others, this is how they treat their customers, and it’s been very eye-opening.

This is the 3rd time I've ordered from…

This is the 3rd time I've ordered from them now when they say the item is in stock when it isn't.
It was a week for the order to process.
I had to contact customer support, be on hold for 30 mins to then be told items are on backorder 3 weeks away.

DON'T BOTHER BUYING FROM DIGIDIRECT

I ordered a camera from DigiDirect and everything went through smoothly at first. I waited three days with no updates, only to be told later that the product was actually discontinued and they couldn’t fulfil my order. It felt like my time was wasted, and what made it worse was the customer service were unhelpful, slow to respond, and offering no compensation or alternative solution.
Overall, a very frustrating experience and not something I expected from a major retailer.

What a bad customer experience, zero email support, account creation doesn't work and the phone support (clearly overseas) is even worse. It makes you feel like you are the "enemy' vs the customer. I find amazing this company still in business

Please, do not give your money to this company

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Probably the most unresponsive, lack of effort customer service I've ever come across. I ordered 2 RF lenses that said they were in stock on Monday, and said that I'd recieve the item within 1-3 days if I chose express shipping. I need them by Friday, latest. The following days after ordering, no shipping or tracking has been issued. Any effort to contact them has been left with 0 correspondance and no one answering my phone calls for days.

I just now got through to them and they said that the product was back ordered and could send in 4 weeks. Why not reflect that on the website or be up front about it? Now I am left out of pocket for a job coming up, from a fraudulent company that doesn’t deliver.

I actually can't believe this is a real business with multiple shops around Australia.

Please if you're reading this, don't even bother. I actually have never left a bad review before, but this is a first.

I wish I had never placed an order, I am still trying to get in touch for a refund, as it did not arrive in time (over $6k).

I write this to warn you to not order with this company, you are wasting your time and your money.
