Banned for calling out the WOKE. Never offended anyone, just asked some genuine questions and instantly banned even though I've been a memeber for over 10 years. Seems the left have some superpower and report anyone who disagrees with their agenda. No response to emails. Utter cesspit.

This is one of the most vile forums I have come across on the internet. It is infected with lunatic, far-left, racist and bigoted posters who are allowed to spout whatever disgusting bile they want.

The mods turn a very convenient blind eye to all of this and happily ban anyone who dares to complain.

Ofcom needs to get involved and shut down this venomous cess pit of hate and ban Hearst UK from operating in this country.

The forums on DS have gone downhill in recent years, they are now overly full of left wing losers all patting each other on the back after posting some tripe. After at least 10 years of participation on the forums I've been kicked out today, by, I assume, some kid that can barely wipe its own nose. Not for posting anything controversial I add, but for simply suggesting the moderation on a thread had been somewhat too zealous.

I was a member for eleven years with a post history of over 30,000. I was instantly banned for arguing with another member (obviously a mod,) about milkshake gate. She thought Jo Brand’s comment about ‘Pity it wasn’t acid’ were perfectly reasonable, and when I disagreed, I was banned. Their Politics Forum was a one-sided bear pit, with only extreme left comment permitted. I’m really happy now that such a toxic place is no more.

The mods are insane. Legitimately batshit insane. Say something they don't like? Ban. Say something they disagree with? Ban. State a scientific and biological FACT? Ban.

Message to the mods: Men can't be women. You can't ban reality. :)

I had to give one star but would have given minus five if that had been possible.

I can honestly say, I have never come across such an arrogant company as Hearst - they announced they were closing their three busiest forums and shortly after actioned this to make them read only. There was no warning, apology or thanks to their members who have been forum members for many years and have visited their site on a regular basis.

In truthfulness, the forums had become toxic over the last few years and the moderation was a joke - the mods were either the bunch of bullies who were controlling the narrative and getting members banned who had a different opinion to them or they were scared of them so just went along with what they were doing.

I have found out that they're refusing to delete the personal details of any members that were banned - I'm not very au fait on the GDPR rules so it would be interesting to hear from anyone who is.

Its sad to see you getting rid of forums like General disc there still others I read such as broadcasting, TV Shows, Movies, Radio and satellite but not reading this site as much as I used to.
Really hope these don't go.

Today is a good day Digital Spy Forums is about to die, been a member since 2005,it changed from being a good moderated site to one of pure nastiness, what sickens me is that I did not do anything about FM called Old Hippy Guy who literally said all Tories should be hung from lampposts, his behaviour got worse and I was stalked around the forums and I was told to move to Israel and messaged with anti semitic rants, the moderators did nothing, to be honest I'm surprised it has lasted for this long.
Racist,anti semetic baiting was the thing,Hearst have finally pulled the plug on the politics side but the rest of the site will be gone within the year along with the mad rants of the ignorant FM's for whom politics section seems to be their only friends. Sad thing is that they really believed real politicians read their rants and acted upon their clueless rumblings, truth is it was a place for the worst dregs of social media to breed and feel important and powerful, truth is they were sad insignificant lonely bullies with mommy issues.

Goodbye DS Forums you ensured your own destiny and death.

It's suppose to be a forum where you are suppose to be able to post your point of view without getting abuse from other posters. Also there are many subjects you are not allowed to talk about. Getting banned is easy, all you have to do is mention a banned subject or say something which goes against the majority.

There are some posters who can post whatever they like, they are actually Mods posing as real posters and are untouchable.

Back in the early 2000's the forum was fun but now it's next to impossible to sign up for an account and the moderating is so heavy it's not worth a visit.

This forum was once the best but it has now been destroyed by the woke brigade who bully, harass and get you banned simply for having a different opinion. This is no longer a discussion forum but an echo chamber for self obsessed people who can't have a civilised discussion. After nearly 17 years of visiting the forum I'm glad to say good riddance.

I will name the FM who is ruining the DS forums of late

She calls herself Tanya1982, a hysterical, self obsessed, spiteful bully who goes to lengths to get others warnings and even perma bans

I have exchanged private messages with FMs who have gotten temp bans and warnings because of her, all decent posters who I have built a good rapport with over the years I have been there

When I got put in DS jail because of her I politely told the mods about how I and many other long time posters felt about the fact she is ruining the boards. I know I was not the only one to do this.

Surprise surprise, no response whatsoever, they seem to be happy to run rings around the place, which is very strange

Why are the mods allowing a clearly disruptive troll control the boards? Makes no sense

Surely this goes well against the site's policy

Why Tanya1982 is considered so bulletproof and important amongst the faceless mods is a total mystery

Digital Spy where truth goes to die. The forum itself is a former shadow of what it once was all those years ago. Digital Spy has embraced cancel culture and wokeness. I have witnessed racism on this forum many times and if you report it they do nothing. You only have to read the politics forum on Digital Spy to see it's a leftist echo chamber. I was given a ban for speaking the truth and mentioning how this world is in control by globalist maniacs who want to remove free speech and freedom of thought. Apparently the mods said It was misinformation and didn't want their forum to be posted with conspiracy theories.. really ? The whole freaking forum itself is full of leftist conspiracy theorists...

Lastly I will say this. Joseph Goebbels , the would be immensely proud of Digital Spy for their censorship and removal of any dissent.

Over the last year or so this site has gone Woke. Any comments that do not meet the Lefty clique and it will be reported. And the moderators are so gutless they will take the easy option of deleting such comments and/or banning the poster.

And yet there are so many clique members who post quite hostile/hateful comments regarding anything they see as right of centre, and they're untouchable by the mods.

They just don't understand what freedom of speech means. Or rather, they do understand, but only under their own particularly warped interpretation!

Toxic place. Full of leftist loonies and their forum mods are biased and do not like anyone critical of leftist politics. I got banned because of stating fact. Banned for so called hate speech... Freedom of speech does not exist at Digital Spy.

There's only TWO genders. Male and Female!

This forum is filled with antisemitism that the moderation turn a blind eye to. If you report your concerns they ban your account. I think Ofcom should investigate whats going on.

I got banned two years for something I didn't think warranted a perm ban, others have got away with worse, anyway despite several attempts at resigning up I can't get back on at all so I'm now in the process of drawing up a legal case to see what exactly DS have on me to spy like this. I've tried new laptops, new IP addresses and even had someone in another country try to set one up and each time they get refused or banned. So something feels very wrong about the whole thing and if DS are able to still ID me after two years it makes me very concerned at what info they are harvesting about users.

My account was banned last summer, permanently, when I said 'I can see where JK is coming from' in regards to the debate over her trans rights comments. DS then blocked my email from being able to appeal the banning and despite several IP changes and a new laptop I have been unable to get back on with a new account yet people like Aurora13 and SierraMist who are the exact same user are able to operate using multiple accounts. It seem a bit odd to me how the site is moderated. I hope these reviews start seeing it lose ad revenue because maybe then Hearst will investigate whats happening.

I've been trying since lockdown to get an account on here and can't get on either so I'm pleased to see it isn't just me having issues, whats odd however is that when I emailed them to ask why I was being rejected they banned my email address from further contact. I've never had an account on this site before so my IP should be clean as far as I'm aware. I can't think what else I did wrong.

Does anyone else have issues trying to get an account on their forums? I've been trying for six months without success and they usually ignore all emails. Its strange, is it exclusive invite only?

Until last night I had been a member for a little while.

This morning I woke up to an email telling me id been banned. The reason given?
I was arguing in favour of free speech.

It wasn't just one of my.postings that had been reported either, it was several. So someone, or a group, went through my history and reported a great many of my messages. In the end, 6 of my messages, going back a couple weeks, got removed and I got banned.

It seems obvious to me that there's mass reporting going on by groups of people, or one person with many accounts.

DS Forums moderation team need retraining.
