I purchased insurance at the price of approx.£47 after recently just noticed an error in the start date I had to make an amendment. I was not aware of the cost but was then charged a further £42 to amend the date which I thought was excessive.

Thank you for your feedback. The reason for the additional charge is due to the change in your trip duration. Initially, your policy was purchased for a 1 day trip. You then extended your trip to 10 days and the premium was increased to reflect the updated coverage needed for the extended trip (an additional 9 days). We understand that this may have caused some confusion but we appreciate your understanding of the necessary adjustments.
