We have requested further information from you regarding your order because we do not have a customer named 'Carole Cardwell' or with the surname 'Cardwell'.

An order number and contact details would be useful and also a description of what you have ordered?

We await your reply before taking further action.

**** Update on 31st March - Now that we have your email address we have sent you an email directly to ask for more information because after carrying out a search on our system for you name, your surname and your email address there are no records matching.

**** Update 2nd April - Carole did respond via email to us to say that Trustpilot have incorrectly allocated this review against our business - the business that it's actually about is www.ducocarparts.co.uk.

We have since flagged this review with Trustpilot and await the removal of it in due course. We are also taking legal advice about the matter and have contacted UK consumer groups to seek further advice and to see if there's some group action we can take against Trustpilot and their shoddy review systems and procedures.

Suppliers beware - do not offer solutions to DCP

Suppliers - beware!

DCP used to be our hosting client, yet, at some point they stopped paying their bills.

After a month of free hosting and 6 email notifications that they received (as they themselves admitted) their website was switched off by our hosting solution.

DCP would not accept responsibility for their own lack of professionalism, lack of interest in their obligations, and total lack of communication and instead tried to blame our hosting for it.

Looking at other reviews left by the DCP top management to other businesses on TrustPilot we see this situation happened a number of times in the past (like with their HSBC account for example).

Do not do business with DCP!

This review has been posted in response to a 1 star review that we gave to Holbi.

It is true that we had not paid the single invoice that they had issued but this was simply an oversight on our part, however the point that was made to them was that it would have been good customer service to simply give us a call to remind us that the payment had been forgotten rather than just turn off the website hosting.

Shame that they weren't able to accept constructive criticism and instead just terminated our hosting contract with two weeks notice.

Parts descriptions not always accurate - check photos very carefully !

Ordered a Wiper blade for an Mk 2 i30 as it looked like mine in the photo and it was advertised as 13 inches. What arrived was a 12 inch blade which didnt fit as it was for a Kia ceed. After I pointed out the mistake in the advertised length, they seemed to have now changed the length stated on their website. Looking at other companies online, the Ceed 2 rear wiper is different to the i30 mk 2 wiper but there website as of 17.3.17 still suggests they are the same. So I am not confident that with accuracy of their parts descriptions. UPDATE - They have now told me that the parts supplier gave them the wrong information and bearing in mind the high cost of postage relative to the part cost and offered a refund without having to return the item, so have given them an extra star,but would suggest their photos need to be a little larger. Hopefully the website will now be updated.

Good place for car spares.

Order two oil filters but informed only one in stock. Given the choice to get one initially or wait. Happy to wait so no complaints. Communication was good. Prices are competitive and I will use this company again.

Grand scenic sill cover

Spot on plastic cover that fit with ease. Stops all the dog scratches and fits with both adhesive tape and holes that match to existing clips on the bumper. Quick delivery aswell

Armster arm rest

It was unfortunate that after I ordered and paid for the product; it turned out to be "out of stock" however the computer had not regenerated with this info. However although the part needed to be ordered from Europe and there is an approximate 3 week wait time, I decided to wait for the part and keep my order "live". The staff members at Direct Car Parts were genuinely apologetic and courteous and the part eventually arrived, well packaged, in good order, with advance notice of when it was being delivered. I would have rated this 5 stars if it wasn't for the "computer confusion" and would recommend they look into their IT systems for improvement, however I would still purchase from them in the future for car part assessories .

Wooden steering wheel for my Spitfire

I ordered a Mountney wooden steering wheel and received it within two weeks.
I am pleased with the speed my order has been delivered to me; also the quality is outstanding; today I mounted the steering wheel in my Spitfire and it shines like a priceless piece of jewellery and for a very modest price!
I would surely return with Direct Car Parts if needed to!

Great service poor delivery

I can't fault Direct Car Parts as their service was gold class, however, their choice of delivery agency leaves a lot to be desired!! We have always had a problem with this delivery company and have had to travel 20 miles to pick up parcels.

I would purchase again from this company

A fair price for my goods, quality of item was excellent, the description of goods on Direct Car Parts site was perfect.
My goods left D P C just after black Friday sales and because of the amount of parcels on the move deliveries where disrupted, but during that time I had a constant information flow from D P C telling me what was happening with my parcel a very good after sales service.
