Very Slow refund process
UPDATE: Re the reply from Direct Ferries. Their email sent today states that the refund has been processed today and will take five days to show on my account. Same wording as original email but stated 10 days.
ORIGINAL: Another organisation that make booking smooth and easy. I have found the measure tends to be when you need to change or cancel a booking. And this is where they have shown their true approach to customer service.
Had to cancel and had purchased the "cancel for any reason". It's now 12 business days since they said the refund would be in my account.
Hiding behind an AI chatbot so par for the course for poor customer care

When traveling, paper backups.
A suggestion:
When traveling, I always make paper copies of important papers, i.e., air, train and boat itineraries and confirmation Nos. , etc. in case my phone or laptop is damaged, lost or stolen. I had to print 4 separate pieces of paper with all important information; all important information could easily be on 1 PDF page.
