Awful experience
I bought a two-way ticket from Direct Ferries which I did not receive on e-mail, so I was forced to buy new tickets directly at the harbour. They did not provide the service I paid for, and they refused to pay a full refund ``due to fees applied``. Awful experience, avoid them!

This Company does not understand…
This Company does not understand Company Service. I had a problem with my booking and despite receiving a reference number there was no response. When checking again the reference number was closed!
As recommended tried changing my booking online, but the timetables were not up to date and again there was no reply when contacting customer service. Querying this, again told reference was closed. I gave up and lost my money!
(re.Ticket numbers 1317985, 1326570,1334511 running from 27th October to 11th November).
My recommendation? Book directly with the Ferry Companies and do not use Direct Ferries.

A horrible experience
A horrible experience. This company is totally unreliable and impossible to contact. Once they have your money they write you off. They never respond to mails and have no phone number. Go directly to the companies providing the ferries. I will rather swim than use the useless company again. Stay away.

So awful support. Tricks you to spend money on handling fees and ect.
Ammending fee is crazy. Awful system af support when the tickets are bought you are no longer a priority. If you amend trough their system(which looks nothing like the rest of the site with awful ux) it's supposed to cheaper, but it will give an error when you pay saying your card saying you bank declined your card, but talking with the bank, there's nothing to see. So it's a trick to make you call and pay 200 euros for them to change it for you. Should be illegal. I can NOT recomend this company to anyone.

I would not recommend this company
This company has the worst costumer service. You can’t reach them by phone which is a problem if you need acute help.
Our ferry was rescheduled from 12.45 to 17:30 and they did not write nor call to give us this information. The prizes changes after you first buy the ticket.
All in all a terrible experience. Way better to just buy the tickets directly from the ferry companies themselves!

More expensive and horrible service
Tickets on DirectFerries are not only more expensive than other websites, but they also add an additional service fee of about EUR 7. For two tickets, it cost us an additional 14 euros total. We accidentally booked the wrong tickets, which would not have been a problem amending IF DirectFerries had given us correct and sufficient information on the tickets. Consequently, the tickets of EUR 116 were simply lost despite it being the fault of DirectFerries. Would never recommend anyone using Direct Ferries.

We apologise for the delay, when booking on line it will ask if you have any cargo or furniture in the vehicle, if you had clicked no, the system will confirm your booking. The port will check all vans, if there is anything commercial you will be charged th extra ticket cost.
