It’s an okay insurance company.
I have had home insurance with this company and car insurance.
They are perhaps very much a ‘hands off’ company as far as customer care is concerned, also with direct line you must always challenge renewal quotations. They will always increase fees at the renewal, and the increase will always be disproportionately high.

Was cheaper than other quotes for same cover, however there app doesn’t work, even when you purchase an on line account, they need to sort it out !
