Delivered everything as ordered correctly. I returned an ankle sleeve as I chose the wrong size and the return process was so easy and fast. Good service.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I felt it needed to be shared. I bought a pair of shoes from Direct Sports, and not long after, they started falling apart and well before you’d expect any issues. I contacted customer services thinking it’d be a simple fix or exchange. Unfortunately, I was wrong :(
Despite explaining the situation clearly and showing the defects, they refused to take responsibility or offer any kind of replacement. The response felt dismissive, and the whole process was more stressful than it needed to be. I regret buying here and won’t be shopping with them again as I've spent a lot of wasted money.

Poor communication! Ordered a good quality squash racket asked for it to delivered to local post office. Didn't receive any notification of delivery for a while chased up with no response. Later on got a separate email saying my parcel has been returned. Asked for a refund and was only refunded racket price. Delivery charge was still applied even though it wasn't my fault the delivery was sent back. I suggest this company stays local and takes down its website as it seems incapable of dealing with deliveries correctly

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Direct Sports. I purchased a pair of shoes that turned out to be faulty straight out of the box, and despite numerous attempts to contact their customer service team via email, I have received absolutely no response.

The lack of communication is unacceptable. It's clear that once they have your money, they’re no longer interested in helping you. Their customer service is completely non-existent, and the company seems to have no regard for basic consumer rights or responsibilities.

As for the product itself, the shoes were of terrible quality, far below the standard I expected for the price. They were uncomfortable, poorly made, and started to show defects almost immediately after limited use.

I am completely unsatisfied with both the product and the service. I strongly advise others to avoid Direct Sports at all costs. There are plenty of other retailers who sell similar items but actually stand behind their products and treat their customers with respect.

Very disappointed with the customer service. I bought a pair of trainers that turned out to be faulty after just a couple of uses. I contacted the company multiple times, but they’ve still not replaced the shoes or offered a proper resolution. The company tried to fob me off by asking me to write a letter to their managing director. This was also ignored! I emailed them again to chase up if the letter had been received, but was told he wouldn’t be responding and the case was closed. I have emailed to ask why they asked me to write a letter if there was no intention to reply? I have again had no response. I expected better, definitely won’t be buying from them again.

This is my go to shop for sports shoes as the selection is always good, as are the prices. After doing a lot of research on squash shoes online, I came here to make my purchase. Easy to order and shoes already being worn!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Complete disregard for distance selling laws. If you buy, don't expect a refund if there's a problem with the product.

Dreadful. The purchase was simply never fulfilled. I selected next day delivery and over a week later it hadn’t even been dispatched. Do not use them.

Bought a pair of ASICS trainers, which started to come apart after only a few wearing (indoors). As of over 2 weeks later I am still waiting to receive a refund (originally asked for a replacement but due to this post no longer wish to deal with them). Told 21 days but that was after I eventually got hold of them as no facility to do so on their website. This is not a return, it’s a fault and 2 weeks later no progress! Unacceptable and had I been aware of this I would not have purchased from them.

I ordered a pair of Adidas Terrex Tracerocker trail shoes from Direct Sports in October 2023. They arrived quickly and ordering experience was good.

Unfortunately, they developed a fault, so I returned them in May 2024 following the faulty item instructions on their website, which stated "If a fault has occurred with your product please return the item in a well packaged box and include a covering note with your name, order number and details of the fault." Based on experiences with other retailers, I expected a straightforward exchange, but instead, I had to wait while they sent the shoes to Adidas for inspection.

Although Direct Sports received my return on 29 May, I had to chase for an update on 18 June and was told the hold up could have been because I didn't contact them first (this wasn't mentioned in the instructions for returning faulty items). The replacement pair wasn't dispatched until 26 June. I was disappointed that I wasn’t reimbursed for the cost of returning the faulty shoes.

Unfortunately, the replacement pair has since developed the same fault. However, Direct Sports has refused to replace them, as they consider them out of warranty, despite this pair being less than a year old.

While the company did eventually provide a replacement for the first pair, the overall experience was slower than I’d hoped. If you're buying from them, be aware that warranty replacements might not be as straightforward as with other retailers.

I purchased this tennis racket as I already have two and I love them. Due to the slightly shorter racket length and the lightweight version of this it is tremendous and easier for me to control. I feel it has transformed my game.

However I have only ever purchased these rackets with factory fitted standard strings and then had them restrung to my requirements at the club I play at.

This time I decided to upgrade the strings during the order and chose the Tecnifibre Multifeel (1.25mm) Tennis String 200m Reel (Natural) at a 60lb tension as I like it firm. It’s amazing, I was blown away by the control I had, the additional power and pace I was able to put on the ball, and the spin. Fantastic choice and reasonable cost below £15. The racket itself was so cheap too, under £55 as it had been reduced because it was last years version.

I love everything about this racket and I would 100% definitely use Direct Tennis again for their service, high quality items, great value and swift (and well packaged) delivery.

Purchased a pair of Saucony Peregrine 13 trail running shoes for a great price of only £100. I made the order at 3pm and they had been delivered the next day. I ordered a size 9 as my true foot size is 8.5 si I had a little space in the toe box. I took them straight out of the box for a 20 mile run and they were comfortable all the way round the run. Thanks Direct Sports for a great Service. I will definitely be recommending and using you again!

Used this company for a few years. Always provide quality products that are good value and delivered in good time

Needed to try on a pair of trainers but the only way was to order 2 pairs that I liked. Then return the pair I didn't want. All well and good but I live 3 minutes away and still couldn't just try before I buy. Spend over £200 picked them up, tried them on in the car and took a pair back inside and waited a week for the refund. If it was purely mail order I'd get that but just up the road when I could just try them was a touch inconvenient. Other than that no issues and will continue to use

returned some trainers. only tried on once . in perfect condition. wanted to exchange for appropriate size.

exchange was rehjected as box was damaged, despite the box coming to me in a damaged state to begin with

Ordered a pair of trainers they were too tight and returned them. £8 to try on a pair of trainers basically !!! in future will stick with Amazon
