Completely worthless

Completely worthless - after given them all of my elderly mother's information they said no one was available to treat her. She is having nausea. Tried last year to see if she could get temporary oxygen and got the same answer. My mother is at end of life - just wanted some weekend relief until she could see her doctor. Disappointed and will never recommend or waste my time with them again.

Dispatch Health was really awesome for…

Dispatch Health was really awesome for us. I made an appointment online about 9:30 am. A team arrived about 2:30 pm. I could not have been happier with their service. Tim is a very knowledgeable Nurse Practioner. He was gentle and thorough with my elderly mom. He answered our questions, addressed our concerns, and advised us on care products and techniques. He sent a prescription, ordered X-rays, and contacted a home healthcare service before his team left our home. I highly recommend Tim, his team, and Dispatch Health (Houston)

NO SHOW NO CALL

On 6/23/23 I was told they would call in the morning to confirm my 6/24/23 2-6 pm appointment, I am hearing disabled and to get an incoming phone call I have to be watching the captions on my laptop. After no call, I checked at noon and was assured they would call 15 minute before arriving. Late afternoon, I called to check they had the right phone number for me. Was told all was well and they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. They close at 6, so I called at 5:55 to find out why no show/no call. Talked to a (doctor? nurse?) a provider and she told me they ran long and would not be coming. Would I be interested in rescheduling for 6/25/23? Not if they are not coming! She tried to tell me how I could have handled it better, but I did everything right. That they don't manage their workload is not on me. So I got a video visit with Providence Urgent Care and saw a doctor in a matter of minutes, and she called in an rx. None of this waste my day BS.

Made me wait all day for an 7-8pm appointment. They called at 8 and said they were understaffed and i could always go to the emergency room, but they were not going to show up.. Screw that and screw this shaam company. Go somewhere else. They have a 2.7 rating out of 5. That should tell you all you need to know.

Do not give your medical records (in my case, United Health Care, who has a partnership with Dispatch Health

My wife called the”visiting nurse” program associated with United Health Care, our Medicare Advantage plan. I knew that I had upper respiratory pneumonia after constant coughing. We were out of options, except going to ER. On Sunday May 14, Dispatch Health sent two people-Chris who identified himself as a PA, and Abby identified herself as a med tech) this information was forth coming when I asked their names. Abby was unable to draw a blood sample after two attempts. She asked Chris to draw a blood sample.

As Chris was asking questions, while reviewing my medical record, he would not prescribe an antibiotic because on I had 3rd stage kidney failure (a possible negative impact), as attributed by gerontologist doctor who I saw in March. TOTALLY, untrue. I signed into My Chart account, and it was included on June 2013. I shared this information with him, but received no reaction from him This situation can be dangerous when a person (not even a doctor) is not familiar with my medical history. Since 2013 I have been prescribed antibiotics without the need for a blood draw for kidney function. Then, Dispatch Health (Chris) began selling “services” PCR, after I informed them I test negative on Saturday. Yet they insisted I should take the PCR test, informing me that home test kits can not always be reliable that I am aware of. I acquiesced. Then Chris mentioned that Dispatch Health has a mobile X-ray. I deferred. More services = more money. Chris handed me the script for the two prescriptions that did not have the quantity, the dosage or the frequency for each. I can provide other examples.

STAY FAR AWAY FROM DISPATCH HEALTH

Started out as what I thought was a good appt for my 78 yr old mother who had a wet cough. Quickly turned down hill. Mobil XRay appt never followed up I was on phone multiple times over two days following. To which when finally showed up results said no pneumonia. During one of these calls a NP prescribed additional meds that said should have been prescribed at initial appt then come to find out they misdiagnosed her. Tonight when advised of the results was told over the phone to stop meds with nothing in writing, I advised I wanted in writing and was told it will be in her portal yet was not. It takes an act of God to get anyone to get you documentation and they constantly want to escalate the call which does absolutely nothing. Also documentation in portal is not complete or 100%correct. Provided so much more info at appt which was not added to her file.
No one can help and will pass you off to Multiple people it's like being on a hamster wheel....
STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LESS STRESS. Seriously the stress of going to an ER is far less stressful and in the end less time consuming... Who would have thought

Told visit was free.

Told visit was free. Now charging for 2 visits never saw them except once. Did nothing except take vitals and ask a lot of questions. Had a home health service at time and they just repeated same service. Now months later being charged for another visit that they never made. Talked to them on phone about charges, but no help.

They provided excellent at home…

They provided excellent at home healthcare for my sick elderly mother. She didn't want to get out of the house because she was feeling poorly, and this was a wonderful alternative. They were smart, thorough and very kind and attentive. I would strongly recommend and will use them again.

DISPATCH HEALTH RIPOFF COMPANY

rip off company. cancelled my appointment within an hour of making checking and finding out my insurance company did not cover the visit (said the which the agent assured me I could do without any charges). They fraudulently charged for the appointment in full and have yet to reverse it despite assurances they would. The agent then transfers you to billing and they never return messages. STAY AWAY FROM DISPATCH HEALTH!!

A simple Bronchitis treated at home..no fuss

I was sick with a simple Bronchitis and was able to make a same day Appointment with Dispatch Health in Tucson.

What could easily have been a three to five hour wait at an ER or Urgent Care became a comfortable wait in my own home.

A team of two caregivers arrived on time and gave me a non invasive efficient examination. They left me with two Rx's for an antibiotic and a cough suppressant which was exactly what I needed

Improper Incorrect Negligent Med Scam Co.

Depending on medical issue needed, the dispatch experience is not recommended.Took 10 hours to get here at 8:00 pm.for an antibiotic prescription (bronchitus). Then the nurses failed to call it in to Walgreens and it wasn't there for pickup. Took several hrs next morning of calls without relief until finally got a supervisor to call it in to Walgreens. Meantime I remained in discomfort and irritating condition. As if above experience was not enough, turns out the antibiotic prescribed is not specifically for bronchitus after following the prescription time table dose. Likely will need to go to hospital emergency room tomorrow as doctor is non-reachable and would require a trip/appt/visiting room delay, driving time and further suffering (another day of Americn banana republic life)

Found out about at senior center

Found out about this service at senior center. Was told same price as urgent care. Website says same cost as urgent care visit. I called for infected thumb on July 4th. Service was great. In December I get a bill for 296.86. Amount due after my insurance (medigold) paid. I am calling tomorrow. Will update with their response.

Dispatch Health is Worthless

Similar to the review I just read for 12/18/22. I completed the online request at 2:00pm. The response was that I’d get a call soon and would be seen today. At 4:30pm, I called and was told there wasn’t enough info for me to be seen. No explanation of why “flu like symptoms such as sore throat, cough, fever, headache and body aches” wasn’t sufficient. Also, no explanation why someone wouldn’t have called me so I could have gone to an urgent care during the day. The agent asked to set up another appointment but said I couldn’t be seen until morning. I was required to give insurance info and credit card info before information was taken on my illness. Then I was told no one could see me this evening OR tomorrow - my symptoms weren’t sufficient to be seen. Was told to call back and try again in the morning. No explanation of what more one could need than flu symptoms and 100.4 fever in order to be seen. I will NOT be calling back. If my fever goes higher tonight I guess I’ll need to head to an emergency department. Dispatch Health is worthless.

Terrible and disappointing.

Wow, have used you three times in the past and service was great! Today when I called, I was told no one can come see me based on my symptoms. When I asked what the criteria is for getting service, again, all I was told is that we don't have a care team who can address your needs. I asked several times if my symptoms (coughing, congestion, wheezing, sore throat, headache) are to mild or too severe for what you do so I don't waste my time in the future. Could not get an answer, even from the care team according to the patient care rep. Ridiculous! Understand if you can't see me, but a simple explanation would have been courteous and helfpful. Lost me and my family as customers.

Easy to schedule at home appointment

Easy to schedule at home appointment . Quick diagnosis based on urinalysis on-site. Copay the same as an Uegent Center. Nurse gave me two doses of needed meds so I had time to get to the pharmacy. Nurse and tech pictures were sent to me prior to visit so I knew who was visiting. No risk of Covid and no waiting. Love this service

I really could not be more pleased

I really could not be more pleased. I was vacationing with family in Del Mar, CA. I had experienced ringing in my ear for about a week - and while in Del Mar, woke up feeling like the ear was badly plugged. I didn't want to spend my vacation finding an urgent care. Contacted Dispatch Health - I honestly thought it was a scam at first. Set the appointment, gave my credit card info, etc. Shockingly, received a text in about 45 mins saying the team was already on the way. A competent PA and two medical staffers were at my hotel within the hour. The PA checked both ears and determined that the one that hurt was clogged with wax, as she couldn't see the ear drum. All three staffers then participated in irrigating my ear multiple times. Forgive the disgusting details, but a gigantic ball of wax finally dislodged and fell out of my ear. It was absolutely disgusting - but the ringing reduced, the pain was completely gone, and my hearing has never been better during my adult life (lol). I was so impressed with the service, the protocol, and how proactive they were to identify the issue and fix it. If you need a mobile health visit, don't hesitate to call these good people. They also have a good arsenal of equipment, so I'm confident they can handle most urgent care issues. The staffers who visited were Bobbie, Erin, and Victoria - they were excellent!

Don’t waste YOUR timem…

Had to call because home health nurse could not get new catheter into place for my husband. Before asking about reason for visit, demanded credit card information. Did not even ask if we have health insurance which we do, Said they would keep card information on file for future visits. This call to Dispatch Health started at 2 in the afternoon. When call completed with them, my husband could not been seen until following day. Ended up having to be transported to ER by ambulance. Great job Dispatch Health. You don’t deserve 1 star, and credit card cancelled.
