Our talented craftsmen pride themselves on producing furniture of the highest quality; each piece is thoroughly inspected prior to freight packing to ensure a wholly pleasurable experience for you, upon receiving your chesterfield. This guarantee covers you against the frame and structure of your chesterfield, including the joints, suspension and any components.

A 12-Month Warrantee Against the Sofa’s Covering

This year-long warrantee covers the sofa’s covering (the leather or fabric it’s upholstered in) against any defects, which are not considered a natural quality of the bovine hide or fabric. Marks and scars are completely normal within 100% bovine hides, and further cement the fact that all our pieces are completely authentic.

Great product and great service.

The showroom staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable.
There was a delay to sourcing the leather for our order which was disappointing and then a further delay after our chosen leather arrived in the workshop, however this was because of the team being unhappy with the ‘colour match’ of the leather - can’t argue with their attention to how the finished products (multiple items) would look together and much better to wait and get it right.
Unfortunately there was a small fault on one of the sofas but the team could not have been more apologetic, helpful and willing to correct it as soon as possible,
The delivery team were again very helpful, polite and professional.

Post sales service is angering!

Before sales service is sparking with Distinctive. You’ll be amazed and happy—but you may be fooled. I was. As soon as the payment was made it has been impossible to reach the company. It’s now been nearly a month since payment and I still have no furniture. When you see the delivery windows realise they’ve written an iron clad contract to essentially never deliver your furniture and still never return your funds—as long as they feel they have an intent to at some point deliver your furniture. I’ve called numerous times, sent numerous emails, and have been mostly ignored. Agents will tell you they will work the problem and get back to you that day—and will never again contact you. Back to square one. I did get confirmation last week that they could deliver next week Monday or Tuesday (my choice) but that I would have to assist the driver in unloading—even though it will only be delivered to the ground floor. I asked, with the delivery being weeks late and then expecting me to do the unloading, for my delivery fee back; I also confirmed I’d like the furniture Monday. Was told to not expect a refund for the delivery fee as the contract permits essentially anything and they’d get back with me to confirm the date; surprise (!), they failed to and I have no idea if I’m getting a delivery tomorrow or not.

Why do you care: you deserve what you’re paying for. That includes delivery and your furniture when you are quoted you’ll receive it, but also you’re paying a lot for furniture and you want that extended warranty. I can’t imagine a scenario where Distinctive will be helpful. They stand behind their product until the sale and then stop communicating. Don’t be fooled. Avoid.

After-sale service non existing

Unfortunately after-sale service non existent. We had an issue with the sofa, zero communication about the repairs and they are poor quality when completed. Trying to get someone to speak to you after you paid for the item is nearly impossible. Wouldn’t recommend.

An update, as previously no contact or communication. Not that I expected, but just to prove my point.

Great quality, slow delivery.

Love the chair, great quality, looks amazing in the space.
Took 10 weeks from order to delivery, which was much longer than the 4 weeks I was told when ordering via the website.
Lovely delivery men. No problems.

Great sofa

Great sofa
Shame would my experience with the delivery company. They were very unhelpful and unprofessional.
I had to speak to the manager and demand my sofa to be delivery after it had been with them for several weeks

Legs have gone on both sofas avoid

Nice sofas but both of ours have had faulty legs, the first was covered under warranty but the second has gone after the first year guarantee. Pretty disappointing and poor for a company like this to only guarantee their work for 12 months at the price they charge. Our sofas are barely used so you can pretty much guarantee with any genuine usage the legs will go and you’ll be left to fix it.

Beauty and quality

We are overwhelmed with the beauty and quality of the sofa and chairs. They are solid. The leather finish is beautiful, smooth and soft. The color is perfect. We expect the covers will last for the remainder of our lives. Delivery was expert and efficient. Yes, the furniture is expensive, but we are delighted with it. The entire experience, from purchase to delivery was fine. Everyone, most especially Christina, has been enormously helpful.

Poor quality leather

I bought two leather Chesterfields in June 2021, Initially I was really pleased with the sofas but as the months have passed the leather is cracking and wearing. I appreciate that leather does show signs of wear as my previous sofa was over 20 years old but this looks poor quality and I fear it won't last very long.
I have contacted the Huddersfield branch to be told I could purchase new cushions for £120 each which I refused as the sofas weren't 18 months old. The fabric warranty is only 1 year which is poor as I would expect this length of warranty on a pair of shoes.
I now wish and would advise others to buy form Sofas by Saxon as I was going too.

Excellent quality sofa and overall brilliant service.

Initially served by Andrei who was very reassuring explaining about the qualities of the sofa and latterly I dealt with Giac overall I'm really happy with my sofa, the quality is outstanding and the build is stunning. The only negative I will mention the courier company was incredibly slow delivering my item.
I must just add this isn't the problem of Distinct Chesterfields.
Thank you i love love love my new sofa.
