Not thousands hundreds of thousands he owes

If I could give zero stars I would. I'm not in the least bit surprised this company have gone bust, and I only hope they aren't trying to pilfer more money from people like they did with us. We had our new windows and door measured, then they tried to hike up costs after a deposit was paid and contract signed. We were very lucky to eventually get our deposit back, but only after we had a disgracefully rude call from a guy in their office. I have NEVER been spoken to as a customer the way he treated us, and it was all of their doing - increasing costs, messing up RAL colours, renegading on the door design, and pushing out delivery dates. What goes around comes around!

We are 6500 out of pocket and not a window or door in sight. If anyone has the whatsapp group number please let me know.

Avoid do not give any money to this company they have gone bust however they are still taking money from potential customers. Currently listening to Joe Duffy on RTE lots of people affected and have lost huge amounts of money!!!!

Not a chance of getting youre money back. I just found out they are DONE but they are still taking people's money for doors/windows, unbelievable. I paid E4.500 ahead from E9.500 in August 2024 for 5 windows and 1 front door. No feedback until November when I contact them few good time just to be told that it will be next year 2025 in Feb. Disgusting, disappointed, horrible. I 🙏 ALL PEOPLE DECEIVED GET THEIR MONEY BACK, INCLUDING MYSELF.

The worst... communication appalling, delays, no emails back, rude, quick to take your money. I see their now in liquidation, quelle surprise!

My aunt has given this company 27k for windows they have taken this money knowing the are gone bust - absolutely disgusting horrible people. Not even able to contact them no respect for the people who have been trying to keep them in Business vile-

My 80 year old mother had to give a deposit of €1800.for a new door in september .was told 6 to 8 weeks wait .she rang five times in november been giving excuse after excuse .she was then told it would be 2025 when she gets her door .she asked for her deposit back .waz told 3 times it was being sent back .she went down today to find its closed .absolute shocking doing this to pensioners.has anyone a chance of getting there money back .

We paid a deposit for a door in May, give several excuses, no reply from phone . I visited their site and there a sign on the door saying. See below

I paid a deposit over 10,000 euros to DK Windows in July 2024. In October, they contacted me to pay the remaining balance, promising to install the windows in November. However, they have since postponed the installation number of times and are now unresponsive to phone calls and emails, despite my repeated attempts to contact them.

We visited their office on 1st Dec , but it was closed, which is deeply concerning. It seems like many others are in a similar situation. Perhaps we can form a group to seek legal assistance?

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ordered new doors in August to be fitted end of November. I called in early October to be told everything was fine and they would be in touch. They weren’t. I have been contacting every day and being told different delay times from 3 more weeks to eight. No one is ever there with authority to discuss. No one ever calls back or answers emails and no one ever tells the truth in there! They quickly take half the cost up front as deposit and that’s it. Totally unprofessional once they have your money in their account! Avoid at all costs!

This company has been shocking to deal with. Multiple phone calls either not answered or answered by someone who says they don’t know the answer and you’ll have to call back. They’ve taken a deposit, are now running behind on delivery by a few weeks, after a couple of months waiting already. We’re now being told end of January but also maybe start of January and have not replied with a concrete date for installation. We’re now at the point of not answering the phone or our emails. Seem like an absolute group of cowboys. Avoid at all costs

This company have been a disaster to deal with. Ordered and paid a very big deposit for windows back in May, was promised windows would be installed no later than Sept. That date came and went and from here on in I just got told lies after lies. Threaten them with court action and eventually got a date in late October. They came and started to fit most of the windows but there no front door or some of the big windows. After constantly hounding them I got the last of the windows and front door fitted on 21st November but they were to come back to fit trims and replace some scratched glass panes and to remove the skip. After more promises I decided to go down to the showroom on Friday 29th to speak to someone as no one had responded but I soon found out out that they were gone, doors locked up etc. I am left with a skip outside the house because A1 skips will only remove it on DK windows instruction. Nightmare of a company to deal with. Feel sorry for the installers as they were very good and now they are out of a job.

This company have gone out of business along with €10k of our (borrowed) money. Absolutely disgusting carry on from them.

AVOID. Doors and windows ordered in May 2024 and still not fitted. Poor communication and many broken promises about delivery and fitting. Installation is holding up other works and staff are aggressive and rude and do not return calls or emails. Totally unhelpful and told different stories each time

Absolutely terrible company. Been waiting since July for my windows and doors. Given 5 delivery dates, none of them have been met. Terrible communication. If you want to order windows and doors, do not trust this company with your cash. I have a €9,000 deposit with them since July, and nothing to show for it except for broken promises.

I worry about cash flow issues and whether this business will survive given many other comments.

Like a lot of others here my experience with them was awful. Left us high and dry for months as we couldn't finish our home, did they care, of course not. Companies that treat clients the way they treated us do not deserve to be in business. Look elsewhere

Still waiting for windows was pushed for payment early to guarantee delivery before Christmas. No sign of windows. disaster. Paid a fortune up front so we would get them in time and no sign of delivery, builder held up, house in disarray and DK Windows sitting with our cash. Watch out for these guys

Long lead times, a severe lack of continuity between the sales team and anyone else, Little or no communication, We were always the ones trying to establish communication despite DK already being paid in full.
Fitting of windows was not as per the quote.
No issues with the staff but service overall was very disjointed and poor. Quality ok
