The Record Power Record Power PT310-HB was worth the wait...
I pondered a long time between the Record Power and the Itech planer / thicknessers and opted eventually for the RP 12" PT310-HB helical block cutter version. It is quiet, easy to use, and suitably accurate. My only gripe is that I had to pay extra for the outfeed unit, but I do understand the competitive cost pressures.

Lathe arrived well packed and in good condition and so far very happy with my purchase. So overall very happy with the service from D&M Tools and will definitely go back when I need more equipment, etc...
