I decided to buy a new car at short notice. Sam Anderson made the sales process (which was all done from a distance) very smooth. However, they then delivered the new car for me to Lancaster before I was catching an overnight ferry. Aiden Collings went above and beyond to make this happen, finally delivering the car to my hotel at 8pm!!

Agreed a price on a car after telling them heater wasn't working properly but Aimee said we will sort it! Left deposit and was told a couple of days. A week later they insisted I paid a further £500 to secure the car even though I had paid the required deposit! Massive lack of communication just kept me waiting no explanation so I told them to keep it so they sent it to auction with a £1000 problem MJ16BYL Stay clear. Manager rang me what an arrogant rude horrible person. All they are interested in is commission. Disgusting service horrible people.

I went along with my wife who was purchasing a new car from D M Keith in York. While we were discussing the purchase I noticed a brand new Skoda Octavia vRS Estate in the show room. I liked the look of it and sat in it, following which I was invited for a test drive in a similar car. I was hooked and although I had not gone in to buy a car myself, I ended up buying it.
The guys at D M Keith were really friendly, helpful, working out the best and affordable finance. Igor and Tyler were particularly helpful in ensuring the car was ready to collect on time and were really knowledgeable about of the running of the car. I am very pleased with the car and the help I received from the sales guys.

I travelled up to Doncaster to collect a car for my mother from the Kia dealership in Doncaster on Thursday 18th Dec. The guys at D M Keith were great throughout the process. Great communication, helpful, thoughtful and professional. After being collected from the railway station, we went to the dealership, did a test drive of a 2 year old approved-used Kia Stonic. After making the payments via bank transfer we needed to visit a post office to change the ownership and tax rating of the vehicle, however the post office-DVLA systems were down. We tried another post office and the systems were down nationwide and we were stuck. Lee (manager at DM Keith Doncaster) and Dan provided a courtesy car with a full tank for me to drive back to south Wales to ensure that I would get home that evening. They then arranged for the tax to be resolved the following morning and for the car to be delivered early Saturday morning, and to collect the courtesy car. The driver who brought the car down was Philip who called on the Friday to say he would be leaving early Saturday. He messaged me en route to confirm his ETA and arrived exactly as advised. The car was clean and handed over to a very happy Mum!
It's not often you're both pleasantly surprised and impressed by people dealing with problems with no panic or fuss, they just made sure I was looked after and solved a problem that was beyond their control with calm and with ease. I want to thank Dan and Lee and Philip for a great service and say well done.

Just bought a used Seat Arona from Seat Grimsby.
From first enquiry to handover it has been seamless.
Fabulous phone contact and dealing with Mitchell has been great, no hard sell just a pleasant buying experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and thankyou for the lovely flower's (I thought dealers had stopped doing this now) so a lovely touch.

Abysmal treatment from D M Keith Leeds service department and Bradford
New Enyaq EV booked in (for two days) for a critical sofware update recall (their words) a new steering rack, key fobs that don't speak to the car and faulty wiper blades (again)
This vehicle was previously booked in with D M Keith Bradford but they failed to do the work because they didn't allow enough time and so it was then arranged to be done at the Leeds branch.
They've had it for two days now and I've been told it could take a further five days.
They've not managed to complete any of the work required in two full days and tbh sound like they haven't got a clue.
They keep coming up with excuses and forget what they've already said........just sounds like lies!
Tried to complain but the "make a complaint" tel number just rings out or asks you to leave a message .
D M Keith clearly don't care, if they did .......the tel number would be manned.
Sadly, I wouldn't recommend buying a Skoda from D M Keith in Leeds or Bradford because the customer service from both service departments is unbelievably bad!

We bought our Honda Jazz from the Grimsby branch of D.M.Keith a week ago. From first enquiring about the car we received a first class service from Ashley, who answered all our queries, sent us a video of the car with clear explanation of every detail we needed to know. There was no pressure sales, just good honest salesmanship and prompt action to enable us to get the car. Before we decided on buying from D.M. Keith, we contacted other dealerships across the country and never got the service that Ashley had provided. Owen took over when we had decided to buy the car (we travelled by train from Manchester to collect it) and he kindly picked us up from the station and took us to the garage. Owen explained everything (and made a great brew!). The process was so quick and easy to finalise and we thank both Ashley and Owen for looking after us. The whole experience was so positive thanks to great customer service.

I bought a used Kia car from these in December from the Leeds Dealers. Having previously bought several Kia cars from here when owned by a different company.
The car had some minor tweaks some touch up on paintwork, which after 3 trips back still remains to be done.
My main complaint it developed a strange noise when braking. Having sent it in to be checked I was told there was nothing wrong with it. It took the manager coming out to drive it to agree there was a problem.
Having booked it in to be repaired being told they would book it for a week, (September)
Having chased for updates, being told they would email me and inform what they had done what they had tried and why this was taking so long, once again they didn’t (P.C.)
So having picked up the car today, after 8 weeks, you can imagine my disappointment as I set off and upon braking the same whirring appeared.
So we are back at the beginning. Having tried to ring and get through, having left a voicemail. I am once again left waiting their response.
The communication from D.M. Keith needs a lot of working on.
Update as of 5/1/26.
We are now entering the 13th week of repair.
Since September I have had my car for a little over 1 week until it went back in on 1/12/25

I got a car on PCP, which was fine. When the term was up and I wanted to settle the difference to buy the car the staff were rude. I called 6 times and was told someone would call me back. I was then told to call into the showroom, which I did, only to be told the person who deals with it was off ill.

Having decided that I wanted to purchase a Skoda Enyaq, the model that I wished for was available at DM Keith in Hull.
From a confused initial phone call (on my part mixing up Elroq and Enyaq_, Shaun, looked after me from the test drive through to picking up the car in the next week.
Having had the car for three weeks, overall it's been a great experience (the only mild disappointment is the lack of 'Sustainable Umbrella) and the whole process was smooth and as stress free as it could be.
If you are an e communication based person you should be aware that DM Keith's systems will pull you to the phone at some point though as the e communication options just don't work (hence the 4 stars not 5)

We reserved a used car for a test drive from the Bradford branch, and they sent it to their garage to get it ready (new MOT and some replacements). However, we found and bought a different car elsewhere in the meanwhile.
Once we informed them, Ms Millie – who had been liaising with us – immediately actioned the refund of the £99 that we had paid for the reservation, and wished us well with our newly purchased car.
Everything was dealt with punctually and professionally, and even if we didn't end up buying the car with them, they gave me the impression of a friendly and reliable company.
