“I ordered five collars and leashes from dogIDs, including two that were meant to be gifts. I even ordered those separately hoping they would arrive faster, but everything took a very long time and the gifts did not arrive in time.
One collar arrived with the wrong phone number engraved, which was their mistake. I emailed them and received no apology, just a message saying they would send a replacement. After waiting over a month, I had to email again asking where it was, and they said it had just shipped. Pictures were sent.
When the replacement finally arrived about 6-8 weeks later, it had the correct number but the wrong color. I sent pictures clearly showing the issue and they have not responded at all.
Another problem is that the numbers are hard to read because of the stitching and placement on the collar. I ordered a light blue collar with black writing and it is difficult to see. The number gets partially covered when the collar is on the dog, which defeats the purpose of having identification.
They advertise “100% satisfaction guaranteed,” but that has not been my experience. There is also no phone number to call, so you are stuck waiting for slow email responses.
Overall, very disappointing customer service with a product that do not look as good as the pictures when they advertise. Would not recommend using this company !

Collar That Kept Our Husky Safe for 17 Years

I bought this dogIDs collar for my husky, Blaze, 17 years ago, and it has far exceeded my expectations. The quality is outstanding and it has held up through her entire long life.
We only had one issue in all those years: a stainless steel rivet broke. dogIDs honored the lifetime warranty with no questions asked and quickly replaced what was needed, which really showed how much they stand behind their products.
Most importantly, the personalized name plate on the collar brought Blaze back home to us three different times over the years. Having her name and my phone number right on the plate made it easy for kind strangers to contact us and get her home safely.
The collar is top-notch, and the company has been wonderful to work with. All of our dogs will wear dogIDs collars for as long as we can buy them. Thank you, dogIDs, for helping keep our fur babies safe.

Paid $35, ended up getting nothing.

Company claims they never received my return. Tracking information says they received it one month ago. I lost my $35. Maybe my experience will keep this from happening to you.

My advice: look elsewhere

I ordered an embroidered collar and the product was nothing like the picture of what I thought I was getting. Customer service was not helpful at all. Just kept responding with “that is our turquoise color” and wouldn’t offer any options to make it right. So now I am out $35. I would not recommend this company whatsoever

I will never order from them again - they seem to have developed a sudden case of dumbass

I have dealt with them several times over the years with no problem Although I had changed to my new address in their account, I ordered some tags for my dogs and they probably sent it to my ex-wife. They refused to make good on the order now 3 months later they say they've received the order back - and they could send it to me if I pay the additional shipping. I told them just to keep the order, kiss my ass, I'll never order from them again

I absolutely love shopping with dogIDs

I absolutely love shopping with dogIDs! Their personalized dog tags are top-notch—durable, stylish, and perfectly engraved. I recently ordered tags for my pup, and they arrived super quickly, looking even better than I imagined. The customer service team was so friendly and made the whole process easy. BUYER BEWARE …

BUYER BEWARE...Would give zero stars if I could...ordered a tag and it is good material but the ph# copy is oddly croooked. The company says it is due to font I choose and that it is my fault as I selected the font and should of seen that the numbers are off set from looking at the tiny example pic of the font they have loaded on their site. I did select the font that is true, I did look at the image of the font but didnt notice that the numbers were oddly offset. The company really needs to have an image viewer for the requested layout precisely as it will look for the tag, as I would of NEVER done that font if I could of viewed how my tag would look. The company offered to do a tag at half price if I ordered a new one. Mind you I paid for 2 day shipping for the original tag as I needed it quickly, which cost nearly the same price as the tag! So I told the company that I would rather have a partial credit back instead of getting a new one due to the shipping cost and not wanting to do that again. Said that would save them doing a redo of the tag and would make me happy due to the occurrence. I asked about half back, like they had offered for the discount, or even just a 1/4 back. The company refused to do any of those. I am so horribly disappointed! So my reason for review is just to warn others to really double check the font they select as best as you can and to be wary that the company accepts zero responsibility. Am hoping this review will avoid others from becoming like me, disappointed when paying out $25 with shipping for a small dog tag! They did say they are trying to add to their site an image viewer of the tag you plan order but don't have it yet! If that would of been available this issue wouldn't of occurred for me.

Basically a Scam

So I ordered a 2-sided ID tag for my dog with a different phone number to reach me on each side. With both numbers the "6" looks like an "8," which of course makes the dogtag useless. I emailed the company with pictures of the problem on each side of the tag and am in disbelief at the response. I'm told that there are not refunds on tags that have been engraved and because I chose the font, I'm responsible for the problem. They offered me a 50% discount to remake the tag.
This company has zero interest in providing a quality product, or having satisfied customers.

The nylon scruff collar

The nylon scruff collar has a plastic clasp. The ID "tag" is beautiful but heavier than the plastic clasp so the clasp stays on the top of the neck and the ID is on the bottom. I had a leather collar previously with the same clasp in metal and it stayed on the neck properly. Disappointed.

Worst customer service.

I have been buying from this company for years. Apparently I've been lucky. Items always came in good condition/quality and correct.
I ordered new collars for my dogs and one came in incorrect. I contacted the company they asked me to send a pic of the item and order details.
I sent a screen shot from their site that showed exactly what I ordered. ( Light blue collar with a dark blue tag with white lettering. ).
They came back and said their system showed Light blue collar silver tag and white lettering.
Not only was it wrong this color combination makes the tag unreadable especially in bright sunlight.
Even though I am a regular customer and it is their system that made the error, they refuse to replace with the correction.
I've spent many years in retail and that is not how you handle a customer. If there is any doubt default to the customer.
I hope anyone that reads this will heed my warning.... don't waste your money. They sell a great product but if anything is wrong with the order ...it will be your loss. They are not willing to deal with you.
