We received atrocious service from the…

We received atrocious service from the manager at Domayne Fortitude Valley, Anna.
After viewing our table in store and getting a quote from Paul, we clearly explained that our apartment has four flights of stairs and that we would need a 4-man delivery. We placed the order online that night so we could secure the current gift card offer, but online there was only an option to pay for standard delivery. Paul called the next day, and during that conversation we again discussed the need for a 4-man delivery and again made it clear that there were stairs.

When the delivery arrived, the drivers refused to carry the table up the stairs. They also did not appear physically capable of doing so. In the end, they left the table in our apartment car spot. We paid $356 on top of the $99 standard delivery fee for a 4-man service, yet four people effectively showed up and did nothing.

When we called Domayne and spoke to the manager, Anna, she offered no support, care, or practical assistance. She refused to approve a refund for a service we did not receive. She was rude, spoke over me, and made no effort to rectify the issue.

This was extremely disappointing customer service from both the delivery team and store management.

Muppets and liars.
Lied repeatedly that item posted. 18 days later when we ask for refund the scum state they don't post to PO boxes.

They don't deliver on their promises

Really bad experience. You won't get your furniture on time or at all.

We've ordered a table and a sofa in August, made sure we will get it in 6 weeks, they called the manager who said there's no problem. 15 weeks after we are still chasing them. No apology, nothing.

Watch out.

We had a fantastic experience at Domayne Auburn

We had a fantastic experience at Domayne Auburn thanks to the exceptional service provided by Nino, the store manager. From the moment we walked in, Nino was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping us find the right furniture for our home.

He offered multiple options that suited our needs and budget, and went above and beyond to ensure we received all the available specials and vouchers. The selection of products at the store was excellent, and with Nino’s support, the whole process was smooth and stress-free.

Highly recommend Domayne Auburn – especially if you’re lucky enough to be assisted by Nino!

BUYER BEWARE
Purchased a lounge from domayne penrith, told by salesperson that the lounge was Australian made. Had lounge for approximately 20 months, 12 of those in storage not being used due to still building a house, when first problem happened. spoke to domayne about warranty but told only 12 months on $7000 lounge, and i would have to pay for repair, payed for repair and while waiting several months all the electrical on all 4 parts of the lounge stopped working. spoke to domayne about this and told by domayne again it was out of warranty and would only consider repair if I payed, also found out at this time that the lounge was infact a chinese import and not a Australian made as I'd been told.
Spoke the fair trading and lodged a complaint. After several more months fair trading responses that domayne Penrith would only repair if i paid for evan though they where informed that by legislation they where required to give a first free repair regardless of age. fair trading suggested to lodge with court as they considered this a major fault and that I may be entitled to a refund. I decided to do so and requested a full refund as I beleive that we had been lied to, told Australian made but was chinise import and also because of electronical issues.
Had court hearing and it went against me, am affidavit stating what we where told about being Australian made was not enough evidence and the judge only considered it a minor fault and only suitable for free repair but only if i didn't leave any negative reviews. I rejected this as I would ruther pay for the repairs myself and let people know how Domayne Penrith treat their customers.
I will never deal with any domayne ever again and my suggestion is if you have to record or have written everything you have been told by this organisation, it may be needed in court, dont make my mistake.

Did not deliver on time

Did not deliver on time. Did not accept responsibility for it. Don't even try to talk to them online, as they'll just tell you to contact the store yourself, and honestly, I've never had worse customer service experience than with their online "help".
Terrible experience both in store as well as online.

Domayne

Domayne - they certainly live up to the Do part of the name, new bed in room in 4 daysExcellent experience from purchase to installation. Sujata took care of us and Osean took care of us for a mattress protector. purchased new mattress and frame with mattress protector, including add cost for delivery and installation. the delivery was earlier than expected, fast, efficient and exact (they even checked the height to ensure the base once installed would suit us in its chosen position and removed all rubbish). in store really felt welcomed and they dont follow you around needlessly without actually helping you. we were able to get a mattress that suited our needs and are over the moon with it. will be coming back again soon in future. thanks Domayne you certainly lived up to the "Do" part of your name. also got delivery as in stock in 4 days.

A fantastic shopping experience

We drove from the Gold Coast to Fortitude Valley Brisbane to look at a Marli High Dinning Table. On arrival we received the very best service from sales team member Andrea who went out of her way to give us the best possible shopping experience. We are thrilled with our purchase and never expected to be able to pick up the table from the nearby Domayne warehouse and be enjoying it that evening at home.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service . I am a regular at this Alexandria store as I live close by . Never again . I visited today to purchase a Jura product the staff were dismissive, disrespectful and disinterested. I immediately went to JB Hi-Fi and purchased the appliance the difference in levels of service palpable.

Terrible customer service experience.

Terrible customer service experience.
Purchased a computer during Black Friday sales - 2 hours after placing order received notification that product is sold out and on back order but will be fulfilled within 2 weeks. No sweat still plenty of time for that to be received store.
Called the dispatching store after 2 weeks and no communication and was told item was being sent from from another store and due to this was unlikely to be received prior to Christmas. Asked for an alternative option to be provided but was advised this was not possible.
Lodged a complaint on 13/12 and had no contact to date regarding this

Once they had my money they didn't want to fix their faulty product

Initially I got great service while they were wanting to sell me a new bed and base.
This was on an end of the month deal and there were advertisements that I was to get a new sheet set with the mattress, which I never even received.
After paying for half the product, I received the base, which I found out after the delivery people left had a faulty drawer. As I was requiring storage and it was my whole purpose of this purchase, I need it fixed urgently. No one returned my calls or arranged anyone to fix it after numerous calls. They then called me to say my mattress was ready for delivery however wouldn't deliver until I paid the remainder. I said I was not happy paying the remainder while I still had a faulty product, however was told they would not deliver my mattress until paid and the faulty drawer would be fixed.
The drawer was never fixed, no one got back to me to sort it out, and I never received my free sheets as per the deal.
Once they had my money they did not want to know about me, even though I just spent $4500 with this company to receive a faulty product.
I am looking to replace more furniture in my apartment but will not be shopping with this store again after they also pushed me from person to person. I think the original salesperson did not want to fix the problem so was conveniently never available.
Disappointing!
I had to get he drawer fixed myself and was lucky to find a person that knew what was wrong with it.

Impeccable service

Chrystal was amazing! We had been to three other stores & gone around in circles on the internet. She listened to what we needed & thought we wanted. She showed us a few options, & we landed on the most perfect solution for us. She had just done some training in the brand we bought, so her knowledge was impeccable! The time she spent with us helped us greatly, as we were confused & overwhelmed by brands, prices, features & options. Not only that, we went in looking for just a cooktop, but bought an oven also and will be future business I am sure! Thanks Chrystal, you were amazing! Marlene

Excellent Customer Service…

Staff in furniture section of Domayne Valley store (in particular Sam and Brenda) have to be commended for their knowledge of their products, service, and ongoing support. As my husband has mobility and health issues, choosing suitable furniture is difficult. Both Sam and Brenda could not have done more for us until finally we found furniture that suited.
We thank them for their consideration and hope that their manner of operating in retail environment is adopted by other stores.

My partner and I shop there every time…

My partner and I shop there every time we need something for our home. We always go there first, then other places if required, but we rarely ever need to.

The staff are excellent there too...so friendly and knowledgable. And the prices are more than fair, especially when they have a sale ;)

It is actually an experience to shop at Domayne. they have so much, but in an organised way, so you're always looking for things you might have missed, because you don't want to miss anything!

We actually went to Domayne the other day to look for outdoor furniture, but it turned out that they no longer had any at that store, so we headed into the centre to check out the other stores and found exactly what we wanted in a different store. Absolutely loved what we saw. Turned out, we were in the new Domayne outdoor store! This was concrete proof that it's Domayne all the way for us, even when we don't know it!
