Just the timing was the only problem when you have confirmed a time and then you come 2 hours afterwards was not satisfactory. But the job was well done which made up for the time delay.

I emailed that I had a problem with my fridge door and I received a time for an engineer from Domex within 24 hours. It was so easy to do. They kept me updated as to the arrival time and the engineer, Muhammad, was fantastic. I received a first class service so happily recommended them.

The repair itself was excellent
The repair itself was excellent, and the person who came could not have been more professional.
Booking was another story - initially, fine and clear. From there on out, not so much. I ordered a part, they didn’t tell me the timelines of getting this part nor that it was out of stock. So I just had the pleasure of waiting when I could have got the part myself and sped it up by a week. Anyone else with two kids and no washing machine will feel my pain…
Anyways, will for sure come back, just a communication issue.

The engineer explained things well and persevered with trying to fix the issue once we established that the first try didn’t work. Very glad that Ashok managed to solve this problem after 8 months of engineers from appacifica not doing so and causing me so much stress.

I don't leave reviews unless I'm really impressed (or unimpressed) but Domex definitely deserves 5 stars. Friendly, knowledgeable engineer visited my home and did a first time fix on my cooker. Looked after my property, knew his stuff, kind to my dog. Brilliant communication from Domex from start to finish, easy to use website/email interaction. 100% recommended.

Avoid this company
Engineer arrived assessed freezer, then asked me to sign in a blank box to say he had been to my address which I did. Only when I saw the report that I discovered the report had my signature at the bottom, I had not seen this prior to signing otherwise I wouldn’t have signed. He claims on the report he had done electrical and safety checks which he didn’t, stood in front of appliance looked at damaged insulation took pics, job done according to him. He was more interested in the fridge which he wasn’t there for. I feel cheated into signing for something then adding the details after, completely wrong, disgusting service. I shall not recommend this company and shall be taking this up with my insurance company.

Following our engineer Nirmal's visit, it was identified that the freezer's liner was cracked. Whilst we appreciate your concerns, this type of damage is classified as a cosmetic issue by Domestic & General. As the appliance was confirmed to be functioning correctly.
We understand this may be disappointing, particularly as the outcome was not what you had hoped for. We would recommend contacting Domestic & General directly should you wish to discuss this.
