This is a really good product and helps with scheduling a lot. I’ve not known anyone who has balked at using Doodle, which is rare.

Using to doodle to schedule meetings with multiple participants is a game changer. I sometimes find it a little difficult to manage, but I'm gaining experience every time I use it.

I have found Doodle incredibly useful and reliable for years. It is the only scheduling tool I will use. Easy, trustworthy, integrates easily into both Outlook and Google calendar.

This is a great product for scheduling-no headaches -just put out a proposed set of dates-let everyone say when they can join -and voila` a date emerges that where the most people can show up-and you... See more

What have they done to Doodle Poll?

What have they done to Doodle Poll?! It’s awful! It took me ages to work out what to do and when I had set it up I actually couldn’t fathom the results! Definitely will be looking for an alternative as anything has to be better than this!

The clearest example ever of the old…

The clearest example ever of the old adage "If it aint broke, don't fix it". It used to be great!
Did you do any user testing on this? Complete dog's breakfast of a makeover, I shall be looking elsewhere for an alternative. Dreadful.

Doodle is essentially defunct

I work for 3 bosses, some of whom go to the same meeting. Guess what? With the new and improved Doodle, I can no longer fill out a poll for more than one person, so I had to email the poll organizer instead. That makes this software useless for my needs. I have no say over paying for Doodle, so I can only use the free version. Also, as an organizer for a meeting poll, a lot of us are admins and don't attend the meetings so why should our names be automatically added to the poll without a way to delete it? Whoever thought of these updates didn't look beyond their noses to see how others in large companies may use their software. We will now be using a different software since this is completely non-functional for us.

The new Doodle Poll format is awful

The new Doodle Poll format is awful. I really liked the option to print a pdf of the results so you could send to the person who wanted the poll and they could easily see all the options. The current version is impossible to see all your options on one screen and the ads make it impossible to use.

Horrible

Horrible. Bring the old Doodle back. Seriously confuses people now. Make it simple. Select the dates you want to poll, make those visible to those it is sent to, have them enter their name and see other choices, and send. Should be a lot easier to use than it is.

Ruined a once-great program

I have used Doodle for years and originally it was so simple and intuitive to use. Over the years they’ve tacked on a bunch of stuff that’s made it less so, to the point now where I can’t even modify a poll in the app. Will need to look for something else if Doodle doesn’t figure this out.

Doodle no Good Anymore

I used the old doodle for years. I will now stop using it. The new one is laborious and unhelpful. Why reinvent the wheel when it has turned smoothly for years?

This latest revision is just dreadful.

This latest revision is just dreadful.

1) The website doesn't work with some (most?) browsers, for example just showing a blank white page or having no effect when you click on a button.

2) You can't switch between List view and Calendar view (sometimes it seems like it is showing one or the other at random)

3) Creating a poll seems to be done in calendar view, and the way that is presented makes it very difficult to choose (for example) a two hour slot

4) The organiser is "automatically voting "yes" for all the options available in the group poll", and it is not possible to change this or delete the automatic selection or to remove the Organiser from the poll

5) "The organiser can also not make changes to, or delete, the votes of the participants", so if someone accidentally votes twice you can't change this

6) A participant can't delete their participation completely, so if someone accidentally votes twice you can't change this

7) Every time you share an invite by email it creates a new participant in the poll, so you can end up with multiples of the same person.

8) Sharing an invite by email often doesn't work, for example I pasted several email addresses and none received the email.

9) "If-need-be is automatically enabled for all group polls and cannot be turned off." this makes it very difficult if that is not a meaningful option for a poll

10) The mechanism of clicking multiple times to change a vote between Yes-No-IfNeedBe is difficult for naive users to understand, often results in them choosing the wrong option, and is especially difficult if IfNeedBe is not meaningful but can get chosen accidentally

11) There doesn't seem to be a version number for the website software, so I can't tell you which version this comment relates to

Does not even deserve 1 star now

If I could give it no stars, I would. It used to be great: simple, non-intrusive and functional. Now it does not do what I want, it keeps trying to connect with other things and it is frankly a total pain. I could not be more disappointed in this so-called 'update'.

I will not be using it again.

Awful

Awful - used to be a great tool until recent update, now dreadful. Difficult to use and I can't find a way to not always be available for polls I am setting up. Looking elsewhere for something that will do what doodle used to.

Doodle is now crap

I have been using Doodle for years but now it's changed and all the usual free features are gone. So you now have to select specific dates, rather than just vague day options or having a list of items. You can't select "no" to something, only "if I have to" (what on earth is that?! Now customers are forced to choose when I need to track no's as well as yeses?!) and I can't delete the fact that I am included on the poll when I'm the organiser and don't want to be. Why on earth would I want to be in my own poll?! But I can't delete this. I also can't neaten the poll by deleting other entires (people are dumb and sometimes vote twice!) these last two things means the numbers will never be correct and renders the poll useless.

You can't see the results properly on a phone either - badly coded for phones.

Overall these updates are just awful. I am guessing it's because they want people to pay now?!

used to be great, now it’s rubbish

A few months ago this would have been 5 stars. What on earth has happened??!! The app just directs to a website. The calendar doesn’t sink with my phone calendar. It’s so not user friendly.
And it used to be!!
Please change it back!!

Never Fix Something that Isn't Broken

Doodle worked perfectly well and it is now inefficient and frustrating to use. As the organizer, I am unable to scroll left to right to see all of the tallies on the dates at once, because the left-right arrows are gone and the scroll bar is on the bottom, which means that the dates are no longer visible when one scrolls if there are more than a handful of respondents. As a recipient, I wasnt even sure how to select the times I was available for. It seems as if one has to insert availability in the overlapping, nonviewable calendar boxes? The horizontal list of choices, while long, was much more interpretable. The past version was just fine. This version is leading me to locate another product. Unfortunate!

Since the March update Doodle Poll is…

Since the March update Doodle Poll is basically useless. Perhaps the most incompetent upgrade ever? Not really worth one star. Has the person who signed this off been fired yet! As one of many examples - the instigator of the poll is shown as attending every event, no way to uncheck any date at all. Really? Have you ever worked in an organisation where the person who sets up perhaps a year's worth of events actually attends them all? Just give yourselves a good talking to and revert to the old, perfectly functioning and incredible valuable version. Please.
