⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Poor Service and Inflexible Policies

We booked an airport transfer with Airline Connections to take us to the airport for a 15:05 flight. Since the airport is over an hour away and we were travelling with a 7-month-old baby, we planned carefully. You only need to be at the airport 2 hours before departure, so we requested a pickup around 11:45 to avoid unnecessary waiting around with a baby and a 4-hour flight ahead.

When we originally booked, they said pickup would be at 11:05 — earlier than needed, but we agreed to be flexible and just kill some time at the airport. However, we were contacted today and told pickup was now going to be at 10:30 — far too early for a young family and simply unnecessary.

We phoned a local taxi company who had no issue with the time we originally requested — and they quoted us £180 return, compared to £285 for the transfer with Airline Connections!

To top it all off, when we refused the new pickup time and tried to cancel, they insisted on charging us a £10 cancellation fee — even though we booked over the phone and were never made aware of any terms and conditions.

Completely inflexible, overpriced, and not family-friendly. Will never use again.

Had a good transfer to Manchester and the driver was helpful. The return was very disappointing. We followed instructions and rang when we got to the stand, we were told 15 minutes before the driver would come. It was at this point nearly 2am and was wet and cold. After 30 mins still no driver so phoned again to be told he was coming into the terminal. Another 30 mins later I phoned again and was told he had taken a break and they did not know. After 1 hour and 10 mins of waiting he arrived. The driver told us he did not know we were waiting and he had told the company he was having a break.
Really dissatisfied with this service.

Please note that I’m only giving you a one star review because Trustpilot won’t let me give you a minus, after using your alleged door to door service in February and been driven round and round a car park in Manchester airport for an hour and a half while the driver waited to pick someone else up I swore I’d never use you again, unfortunately my wife booked with you to take us to and from Manchester airport on the 14th of June, which I have to admit went ahead without any reason to complain but when we were returning today we got within 3 miles of our home address and then suddenly without warning diverted towards Sandal, a mere 50 mile detour, this is after we had stopped at a motorway service station to transfer 3 girls who were going to Yeadon, about 10 miles away from us and we probably should have gone with them because depending which way the driver went he might have drove past our address on the way and certainly would have on the way back to the yard from Yeadon, I’m looking forward to your reply

Avoid this company if you want to get somewhere safe. There bus cut up cars on a duel carriage way then drove down the middle of the road to avoid being over taken nearly causing an accident.

Signs said use both lanes when queuing, he clearly didn’t want anyone passing him and was happy to cause an accident to prevent it. This is a dangerous company if they employ people like that, dash cam being forwarded to police. This is why there are accidents on these roads.

Very dangerous individual then laughed at us as he knew what he’d done. There were children on that bus!
