But why can´t you try Telstra as it is working with that network provider?
Since I can't reply.
Lars, I pay $60.00 a year with amaysim for my 96 year old mother, so in order to use telstra i would have to pay $350.00 a year.. as you are aware the doro 6880 is not a smart phone and my mum does not need a smart phone.....

Can't say what I'd 'really' like to say, but you draw your own conclusions!

"Innocence needs no defence!"

Contacted doroaustralia.com.au to purchase a ‘Big Button’ self-learning TV remote for my 96 year old Mother. Spoke with George, who I believe is the business owner.
Thinking the price for his remotes would be similar to other online sellers, ($29.95 to $39.95) I was somewhat shocked when he quoted $95.00 for what looked like exactly the same device.
When I asked if the brand he was selling was ‘Seki’, (as he seemed to be charging 2-3 times the RRP price) he got all defensive and avoided directly answering the question, instead he became agitated and started rambling on about being the only supplier in Australia with these particular TV remotes and that they were branded exclusively for him.
After agreeing to meet up with him to purchase one, albeit not the model I had driven for 50mins to buy, I then drove off with a white one. I soon found the so-called ‘exclusive branding’ was a tacky chrome sticker placed over a hole where the original brand name had literally been cut-out of the front of the remote, effectively damaging it. When I rang him up to question him about this he started abusing me over the phone.
Hmmm...why would someone abuse you if they had nothing to hide?
In summary, if you want to buy one of these remotes there are plenty of suppliers in Sydney who sell them, (and at the right price).
Alternatively, you can buy them from any number of reputable eBay sellers, again at the right price!

Good luck!
