I’ve been coming across DDN stories for several years now and I find it to reflect the realities of the state of the world today. Sadly, mainstream media is worse than useless as they launder fascisti... See more

Well-researched content

Well-researched and thoughtfully presented. DDN brings much needed and often excluded information and perspectives. Even if you don’t agree, their content is thought-provoking and must be considered reading to round out the propagandist narratives centered by the MSN, political class, administration, and corporatist entities. They don’t pull punches, nor do they cater to the lowest common denominator. Most importantly, cross referencing their material shows consistency in the stories they report. Definitely worth your consideration.

Avoid

Horrific conspiracy theorists that connect unconnected events in one news item in a deliberate goal to give people twisted ideas on reality. Massively biased. Avoid

Twisted narratives

Twisted narratives. Unhelpful in the goal of creating a sustainable and regenerative world. Supports extremism that harms communities. Spreads disinformation and misinformation like it’s butter on bread. Save your mindset and skip this channel. It’s not a legit news source. Just a meek little propaganda channel.

DDN - vicious Jew hating propaganda.

How on Earth does this appalling site get 4.6 stars??
Some antisemitic woman making outrageous claims such as "Israel has beheaded Palestinian babies over the last 15 months" & other disgusting lies.
No, this is not alternative news, it's sickening propaganda for terrorism.

Thoughtful, calm, unsensational

Indispensible source of information. An alternative to the various degrees of spin available on all UK tv, radio, and print media. They're calm and unsensational, telling the truth as they see it, and backing it up by actual facts. Brilliant.

Excellent

Excellent. The conversation between Professor Avi Schlaim and Ghada Kami ("The Hidden History of Israel") is wonderful and not to be missed.

Excellent Double Down News

In my opinion Double Down News gives excellent honest well presented podcasts, analysis and news. Often on issues that are not necessarily receiving as much exposure as they should.

Great interesting content but not enough openness with its subscribers and audience.

I subscribed to DDN for a bit more than a year, until I asked them for their plan to expand their channel out of genuine interest. I had also noticed a turn out rate of 4-5 videos a month which seemed to be low considering the income they were getting from their 9000+ paid subscribers (potentially £30k a month). I asked and searched for account, plans etc and got no response and only found some info on company house. This is a bit ironic from a company that criticises the opacity of the mainstream media. I fund other independent media but all are opened about their finances and development plans. At the time I left (2021) DDN had enough subscribers to potentially employ a small team staff yet only had one producing mainly opinion pieces from single individuals, thus requiring little investment compared to more investigative journalism. Since then little has changed. Great interesting content but not enough openness with its subscribers and audience.

Passionate delivery

Passionate delivery, and heart is in the right place, but short on in-depth analysis, particularly on matters of international relations.
I don't trust mainstream media, so alternative journalism sources should be be making three times the effort if they are going to present reliable, well-documented reports and make them stick.
