They were supposed to take 4 days but due to their schedule not going to plan they squeezed my job into 3 days, to my detriment. Job was rushed to complete before the weekend so shoddy finish. Beware the bunch of flowers they give you at the end. They were a great distraction and I didn't check the work. More fool me! Don't let them leave until you've checked EVERYTHING....!!!!

From the moment I walked into the store to the completion of our kitchen, the Stonehouse Team have been amazing. They really helped us bring our dream kitchen to a reality and we couldn’t be happier! It’s unrecognisable - garnering a few “wows” from everyone who’s seen it. So couldn’t recommend them more to be honest.
The team in store were very informative and accommodating, whilst the fitters also anticipated our needs and did a quick turn around. Simon was absolutely fantastic when we got in touch as well. Thank you everyone :)

Would I use DD again? No!
Would I recommend them to F&F? No!
I'm sorry guys, but our finishing product is just not what we were sold and promised.
We had a decision. New Kitchen, or just spruce up with new floor and doors etc. We visited Dream Doors (Leyland/Chorley) and they convinced us that their finish was of upmost luxury, so we decided to just go for the spruce up option (at £7k). We were told that all the doors would be replaced, with a vinyl wrap type finish on the edges and inners, and we were told that this finish was "Luxury".
Let me tell you....It is not. The doors are fine, some of them have defects from the factory, and one of our panels we made them completely change as it was damaged and the base colour was showing.
The edging and finish, is nothing short of appalling, and I've shown it to F&F and they are aghast that DD consider that to be a luxury finish.
For a start, we were told we were getting this vinyl edging. On the day, our installers dropped the bomb of "Oh, did they not tell you the vinyl doesn't come in this color, so you're getting paint instead"? No they didn't tell us that, which really annoyed us, as if we'd known this, we'd have gone with a different colour. We rang up that night and complained and we were gaslit into thinking this was an us problem, and not them. We were told the paint looks even better than the vinyl. Our worry was that the paint would chip........well low and behold, all the paint was chipping off within 24hrs of them leaving. So they came back and used this white iron on tape over the top of it, and again painted it. So now we are left with these large ugly stick on things with awful looking edges, and the areas they didn't do this, the paint is still all chipped.
Also, the vinyl wrap wasn't applied properly, and was full of air bubbles, which they had to come back and fix twice, and its still not right
The doors, are just fine, but nothing better than a kitchen from B&Q.
We paid almost £7,000.00 for this, and I'm not happy with it as a whole. We have signed the document and paid the final installment as we are just exhausted with the experience and with the lack of care and understanding from management. They came to look at the issues we had, and were just stared at blankly. In regards to the bubbles in the wrap, the response was...."well you cant see it, so what's the problem".....are you serious? "what's the problem???? Seven thousand quid to have air bubbles the size of a saucer on my large cabinet wall and I'm told "what's your problem", and in regards to the jagged and ugly edges, the response was also shrugged shoulders and a blank look as though there was no issue, and we were just being Karens complaining, and then asked...."so you want us to do it again?".
We just give up complaining now, and have realized its not gonna get any better than what we have been given. It was a mistake on our part, and we will have to live with that now. The installer even agreed that the edges look bad, and that although the doors are nice, that dream doors don't deliver on the finishing touches....and that's coming from their own installer.
I can guarantee that this vinyl wrap and iron on edging will be peeling off in the next 12 months.
We wish we'd just bought a new kitchen now.
Overall, it looks nice at first glance, the sage doors look good, but its when you look past that, and see the minor detail, the defect edges on the door patterns, and the inside of the doors. No you cant see if at first glance, but we know its there, and we know we've paid £7,000 for something that hasn't been finished well. We have been left underwhelmed, and exhausted and upset from having to constantly contact them and complain. I think they've been back 4 or 5 times in total.
They also didn't tell us that they would need to completely tear out all the coving on the ceiling. Yes they have replaced it, but now we have to pay to redecorate the ceiling.
One thing we didnt mention to them too, and we know it was an accident, one of their installers, put our washing machine back in for us, as we'd had the floor done at the same time. We didnt ask him to do this, but he thought he was doing us a favour, which is nice. He trapped the pipe at the back unknowingly, and the next day when we used the washer, it exploded all over our kitchen and flooded the downstairs of the house, it was like a literal fire house spraying out the washer. It damaged the back end valve into the washer, and we had to buy a new washing machine at £500. Now I know this was an accident, but after spending £7K on the doors, and now this, it was just an added expense and annoyance.
Some might say 2 stars is harsh as the doors look OK, but its 2 stars for the whole experience.

We chose Dream Doors (Stonehouse)because we liked Simon who was informative, experienced and not pushy. He brought lots of samples and gave us informed choices for everything. Workmen arrived on time every day and made good use of their time. The kitchen was tidy and usable every evening except when the oven was out of action for a day. The men returned to replace some doors and the sink because they were slightly damaged in transit and the men wanted to leave a perfect finished job which we thought was excellent.

I am glad i chose Gloucester Dream Doors as Simon was very good to do business with and explained everything in plain english so i was aware of exactly what was going on and he came up with a design that suits my disability.

The service I received from Dream Doors was excellent. There was a great choice of products and advice on choosing the right ones for the rooms I was refurbishing. The products supplied were good quality. The fitting was done professionally. A detailed final check over/quality control process was undertaken by the team to ensure the whole thing was right. The communication was excellent throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend them.

What an awful experience, what was quoted as a 3 day job, has taken 6 weeks, this was after the job start date being put back twice. To start with the tiling was at best amateurish and had to return next day to rectify. The sink we ordered had to be returned twice as both were damaged. the under counter lights we agreed on couldn't be fitted as had no switches. But what with having to reschedule work commitments so someone could be here it hasn't been a great experience.

All doors were made to measure and fit perfectly. Dan the fitter was very professional and courteous and left no mess. Excellent service throughout.

I had a hob fitted into my kitchen however when installing, it turned out it didn't fit the space on my worktop.
Our local showroom said they will get someone to sort it out tomorrow (Saturday). They then emailed saying they can't get anyone to come until Monday which meant we had to go all weekend without a hob.
I did email head office about this but got no response.
We also had issues the week before with new cupboard doors being done. We were first told the person installing them would be coming at 8am, then told he'd be here at lunch time and then he finally arrived at 3pm.
The one positive thing is the fitters have all been lovely.
The people organising the jobs however weren't so great.
Edit: was told I would receive a phonecall, it's now been a week with no contact.
