There was a issue with my electric…

There was a issue with my electric blanket which when delivered the timer light stayed on - and the customer care team provided excellent customer service and kept me up to date - my blanket was replaced no problem. Many thanks

Thank you Dreamland!

I bought a plug in Dreamland heat throw in January 2024 and after unplugging it and using a damp cloth to remove a small stain at the very edge, it stopped working completely. It was 3 months old at this point. I did leave it to dry before re-connecting not sure why this happened. Dreamland have now replaced the throw and which I have stored away until next winter. I will also be adhering very closely to guidelines regarding the duration the blanket should be left at higher settings to prolong its life for as long as possible. I would be very wary about washing it though!

My wfie and I have a Electric under blanket bought just over Three years ago, my daughter bought the same, both stopped worked exactly after a three year period. Seems odd to me, and they are not cheap. To replace our current one Super king £170

Third faulty throw in one month!

UPDATE: Jan 24. The next throw replacement arrived - only to stop working again within two weeks!
The company say there was not a faulty batch and these are isolated incidents. What??? All four "isolated" incidents sent to me? Ridiculous and laughable. I requested and finally received a refund.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: After less than 2 weeks use the heated throw stopped working. Every company has a bad item once in a while…right? Yes - except this was the THIRD ONE to stop working in a month!!
The person I spoke to on the phone promised immediate dispatch of YET ANOTHER replacement BUT, more than a week later, I’ve still heard nothing! I kept my side of the agreement - i.e to send back the faulty items. Seemingly they do not have similar scruples in fulfilling their side.
I wish I’d looked at these reviews first. Absolutely appalling service & obviously poor quality goods. Meanwhile, I’m left - ONCE AGAIN - without the product I’ve paid for. No customer care apparent!

Dreamland

Ordered a heated throw direct, yet over 5 days later I still have not received it ot or even had a confirmation email to say that it has been dispatched.
Despite trying to contact their customer service.
They have the worst customer service that I have ever come across, you are not allowed to speak directly with anyone to discuss your problem but get told that someone will get back to you, guess what, they must have a memory issue because nobody ever gets back to you.
Avoid this company like the plague, don't use them, buy their products from elsewhere if you possibly can.
My friend bought the exact same item from Amazon and had it delivered by the very next day.
Dreamland will lose a lot of business if they don't start acting more like the more professional company they advertise themselves as.
Their customer service is non existent and has to be the worst there is out there.
Buy from them at your peril, you have been warned!!!

dreamland YES they do......

Absolutely disgusting service, I sent a item back which dreamland received on the 6th December 2022 via royal mail ( I know they received it). We are now into February 2023 and still waiting my money back. Can now get a manager on the phone, 4 times they have told me I would get a call back. Never recommend this company to know one 😡.

I would give ZERO if I could.

Yep as previously stated by other customers horrendous customer services.
Four promises of email response for a non working heated throw only a few months old. Nothing, zero from them. Guess they hope you just give up as it cost more to contact them then to buy a new one.

Didn’t contact Trading Standards in the end.. one email to the parent company in Italy, lovely lady who contacted her company rep at Dreamland UK and today, 13th I have a new heated throw.
Amazing.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I have tried to speak to someone in customer services 5 times now - when you ring you get through to a message centre who promises they will raise your issue and get you a response… absolute lies!! I have had no response to these calls or the emails I I have also sent.

Another unhappy customer.

Another unhappy customer.

I ordered an electric throw on the 7th December - it has been a very popular product and obviously deliveries are difficult at the moment so I don't necessarily blame the company for the delivery being delayed.

What is inexcusable is the lack of information - I sent an Email two days ago and had no reply, rang them this morning and spoke to a (very nice) receptionist who said an agent would call me as soon as one was available. So far no one has called.

I've now sent another chase up email and will ring again tomorrow. There just isn't any excuse for this - don't order from them unless you absolutely have to.

Dreamland electric throws

I have a electric throw and called customer service to ask advice.
The temperature control was burning hot
I wanted to know if this was ok.
I spoke to a young lady who took all the details and said someone will get in touch with me Nothing!!!I called again a few days later same thing a young man this time said someone will get in touch with me Nothing !!!
I will not put the heat on now as I am nervous
I am 83
Not to reply is not good customer service

Car parking scam

I recently visited, despite the usual thanet hospitality which is generally poor but also got scammed by the smart parking at the rear of Dreamland, avoid using at all cost, or alternatively visit somewhere nice!

Electric blanket burned the mattress

I bought 5 Dreamland blankets (1 king, 1 double,2 single) a year ago from Argos and we live in hot flat we barely used it. I gently hand washed once and let it dry .My son’s electric blanket and his mattress burned It was so scary and shocking! when I saw how mattress burned deeply , I thought I was very lucky my son was not in the bed On that time. How I will trust these products anymore I removed them all.please be careful when you use it. I took the photo I will send it to the customer service . I used very cheap silent night product I have never experienced these kind of problems.They are expensive but very poor quality.
