My husband sees Dr Greenwood

My husband sees Dr Greenwood. He has been going to chiropractors for years. This year, we looked for the closest chiropractor who has Saturday hours. Dr. Greenwood's name popped up. He's about an hour and a half away. But worth every penny of gas we spend, even as high as gas is now. Patrick goes in almost hobbling and comes out walking straight! We appreciate the Dr and his staff! Call them, go see him, I promise you will not be disappointed!

Dr Richard Greenwood — Unprofessional and not trustworthy

I waited months for an appointment which initially was because of covid but then a mistake was made by his secretary, Ruth, as she ‘forgot’ to book me in as we had agreed.
When I eventually did see Dr Greenwood, I was astonished that he asked if he could take his mask off. It was an unventilated room (the windows we closed, despite it being summer). When I said I wasn’t comfortable with him removing his mask, he argued that he ‘had the virus 3 months ago.’ This was interesting, since his wife (Ruth, the secretary) had told me he he had it in February. I was in his office end of August which would make his calculation to be end May. When I told him this he laughed and pulled his mask below his nose. I asked him to wear it properly and he said it had ‘fallen down’ despite my having seen him pull it down infront of my own eyes! The whole thing was ridiculous. Since he kept tugging at it it and he kept saying ‘I’ve had the virus.’ When I pointed out no one knows if that means you can’t pass it on (and here we are 8 months later and we now know you can..!) he just smirked. He didn’t look at me once I’m the eye and he hadn’t even read my notes. When I asked him what I thought was wrong with me he said “Well what do YOU THINK is wrong?” I mentioned I’m not a doctor and that I was here for his opinion and he just smirked at me again. The whole thing was a nightmare. Because he refused to wear his mask properly I didn’t feel safe so I left after 20 mins with no diagnosis and £300 down because they refused to give me a receipt and so I can’t claim on my insurance. They insist on you paying first rather than giving them a claims number and I did this in good faith expecting a receipt. When I made a formal complaint they said they would give me a refund but they didn’t. He also denied refusing to wear a mask; a blatant lie. I’ve asked for my receipt 12 times and they ignore my emails. And they owe me £300! The whole thing was a nightmare. Avoid Richard Greenwood at all costs
