I have never had a worse experience when trying to hire a car and I have probably hired cars in 50 different countries. Ridiculous amount of files required, hidden charges and rude staff. Utility bills, Bank statements etc etc. things you don’t think you will need to hire a car for 2 days. Slowest service I have ever witnessed and when asked (after 40+ minutes of waiting) where the car was staff became aggressively defensive. Will never use again, I’d rather walk.

Big Thumbs Up For Drivalia Wirral
Gareth, the operator of this Drivalia branch clearly cared about giving a great customer experience. This was evident in a number of ways:
- He was not happy with the car I was due to collect for some technical reason, so he upgraded me;
- He made sure I had selected the most appropriate package for my intended use, which included the unlimited milage upgrade
- His customer registration process was, quick, efficient and friendly
- The car was well prepared and ran flawlessly,
- Although with 40,000 miles on the clock the car had picked up some minor cosmetic damage during its life, all the scratchs and imperfections were accurately recorded on the pre-hire condition report.
- I was not present for the post hire condition inspection having dropped off the car out of hours the night before. The report truly and accurately confirmed no additional damage and no additional cost, for which I am grateful because it would have been impossible to debate after the fact.
In summary, excellent value, trustworthy and professional. I would definitely use then again and recommend them to all my friends.
