I was absolutely delighted with my vehicle a lovely looking BMW. Thank you Shaun for your great costumer service and attention to detail,I really appreciate the effort you put into my purchase and how professional you were and above all a true gentleman, no hard sell or pressurised selling. The whole experience was excellent, well done. Highly recommended. I hope to return in the future. 5/5 excellent 👌 👏
**Review:**
I had the absolute misfortune of purchasing a vehicle from *Drive Away Today Cars Limited* in Bolton on Friday, 6th September 2024, and I cannot stress enough how appalling this experience was. Within **30 minutes** of leaving their premises, the car broke down. The battery was completely dead, and when I contacted the dealership, their "solution" was to send me to a local scrapyard the next morning—a scrapyard, mind you, that they claim to be "in conjunction with." This was a clear red flag, but at that point, I had no choice but to follow their instructions.
At the scrapyard, the worker confirmed that the primary issue was the **alternator**, not just the battery. Although he replaced the battery with one slightly better than mine, he was adamant that a **brand new alternator** was necessary to get the car running properly. I immediately rang *Drive Away Today Cars* to inform them, and they nonchalantly said they could book my vehicle in for Monday, 9th September 2024. That’s right, I was left without a functioning car over the entire weekend after spending **£5,000** with these robbing thieves.
But the nightmare didn’t end there. The airbag light was permanently illuminated, signaling a potential safety hazard, yet when I brought this up with them, they **refused** to look into it. This dealership takes no responsibility once the car leaves their lot. They outright **refused** to refund my money, even though I only purchased the vehicle two days ago.
Upon further inspection, I noticed that the **MOT certificates don't add up**, and there's **missing service history**—both clear signs of tampering. I am convinced they have **manipulated the mileage** on the vehicle, and I have strong doubts that it reflects the true mileage. When I confronted them about these issues, they arrogantly told me that I could try to take them to a small claims court but that their legal team was "excellent," and I would lose the case. Their audacity is astounding.
For anyone reading this review, **please take heed** of the numerous negative reviews. We can’t all be lying. What would any of us gain by sharing the truth about our horrific experiences? This dealership does nothing but exceed expectations—in the worst possible ways. They’re only interested in taking your money and will do absolutely nothing to help you once the deal is done.
I now strongly believe that *Drive Away Today Cars Limited* purchases vehicles through auctions and has their in-house mechanics make **superficial tweaks** just enough to get the car off the lot, knowing full well the vehicles are **unfit to be driven**. If you’re still tempted to buy from these scumbags, **pay for a private inspection** first—you’ll save yourself hundreds, if not thousands, in the long run.
**Avoid this place like the plague** if you value your money, safety, and sanity.
Recently purchased a renault megane 1.5 from drive away cars, after looking over the car I noticed it needed 3 new tyres as they started to have cracks in. After bringing this to the guys attention he was more then happy to refund me the money for new ones and was happy to point me in the direction of a garage to replace them. Very friendly and more then happy to answer any questions, the car drives perfectly couple of age related marks but other then the cars bang on. Highly recommended great customer service 👍
This guy is a cowboy bought a mazda 2 cost me £1300.had to go and get steering fixed. Cost me another £460.now its got electrics problem. Don't touch this guy with a barge pole
Highly recommend we bought a mazda3 from this company I will definitely recommend my friends the owner is extremely helpful and trustworthy. We have had our car now for 2 weeks not had 1 issue with it.
So if your looking for a cheap and reliable car I 1000% recommend these
Don't touch this man with a barge pole! Car described as pristine! Sent an RAC inspector to view vehicle, he told me the premises looked like a junk yard! The Toyota Alphard 2.4 hybrid shouldn't have been given an MOT! Faults included cracked rear tyres , leaking exhaust ,oil leak on engine, left and right sills damaged, battery totally discharged and not charging, suspension arm mount cracked and subframe bushes worn , lost locking wheel nut socket and multiple other issues. He refused to refund the £100 deposit ! Thank you RAC for saving me £6000.
Worst customer service in the world, called to arrange a car viewing, was repeatedly swore at, told to EFF OFF, and was repeatedly called a name for male genetailia, don't trust these RACIST Lying, rude vile humans, wouldn't buy a toy car off them never mind anything else...
Sometime first impression can be misleading. After me raising concerns about the clutch, sold me a car with a faulty clutch anyway that let me down an hour after i left his premises. cost me 320 £ to fix. typical salesman that will sale you anything in any condition to make a buck. stay well away
