My dealings with a shonky mob called Driver Tuner

On the 16th April I paid $7.51 for the use of this software from the 16th April to the 23rd April.

The software was not suitable for my requirements and it was uninstalled on the 20th April.

On the 22nd April I received an Email from a mob called Clickbank advising me that $60.35 was being deducted from my account that I had paid the $7.51 from for the use of the software for the 7 day period.

I contacted Driver Tuner immediately that the software that I could only have been used until the 23rd April had been uninstalled from my computer and they had no authority to have their cohort Clickbank make any further deductions.

Thanks, but no thanks!
I paid for a 7 day trial and have decided against continuing.

On the 23rd April I received an Email from Clickbank advising me that they had deducted $60.35 from my Credit Card.

· Save the new image to the Desktop in PNG format.
· Attach the saved file to the e-mail.

You morons just aren’t getting it. Your Driver Tuner was uninstalled from my computer on the 20th April 2018 and if your product was any good you would not have to resort to such unethical, shonky treatment of prospective customers. You are advised:

IF THE AMOUNT OF $60.35 IS NOT REIMBURSED TO MY ACCOUNT WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THIS NOTICE I WILL BE CONTACTING THE ACCC IMMEDIATELY AND LODGING A CLAIM IN THE SMALL CLAIMS TRIBUNAL TO RECOVER THIS AMOUNT TOGETHER WITH COSTS.

Dont use this crap.

I got this reccomended from from a program a few monfh back. So tryed it out and i shut never have done that.

After installed what the software told me where out dated drivers, i rebooted my system and bang. Windows loge came but freezed up just after that and then the system just kept rebooting.

I tryed every thing in my power to save my windows install but nothing worked. It cut not be repaired, recovered or any thing. I even tryed out all the known thing ind CMD or windows command prompt with bootrec, bootrepaier and so on. Nothing cut be done and i lost all my latest files i dit not had made backup of yet. tryed severel windows installs and the same happened every time.

I tryed with windows 7 and 10. Every time driver tuner made my windows unbootable and unable to repair it.

Again dont use this crap. Its nothing else than malware or something like that. It deffently not holds it promised with "Excellent Ability to Fix Driver Issues". They are wrong driver tuner is the issue or make it worse by destroying your windows.

They use malware to promote this scam!!
And the guys on google just role their thumbs ...

These people are scammers. They encourgae you to sign up for a 7 day trial for which they charge a small fee then, once they have your charge card details they immediately deduct a full years subscription. They will not even consider refunding your money and are immoral and acting illegally. They are thieves and i don't even want to open their stupid product...I just want my money back. BEWARE...DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

bought the 7 days trial, when you do this, you automatically sign up for the full version. If you product are any good, you don't have to use this scam method. I have writen to them many time for a refund for the full version, at first they answered trying to get me to keep the product, I refused and then they just stopped answering.

I've been having problems with one of my laptops' ethernet card, and have been looking to update the driver. In my search, I found a program, drivertuner, which at first appeared to be just the ticket.

When I started doing research, I quickly found out that this program comes with Lion Sea malware, which will infect your computer. Lion Sea is, according to web sources, affiliated with RBN, the Russian Business Network which is one of the worse bits of sleaze currently around on the internet whose specialities include clickjacking, identity theft and computerjacking.

I would strongly urge anyone not to get this program. Download your drivers only from official sources. There are no shortcuts.

I got the drivertuner together with my smartpcfixer purchase. I used it for several months, it turns out to be working fine. my drivers are all up to date. you are really great to produce such good software.
