I wouldn’t even give this company 1 star. Dishonest & money grabbing. I hired a Clarinet while using them to hire a saxophone. Taking out the e-contract I wasn’t aware that they had changed there returns policy. I now have to pay hire until 2023! Speaking to the liquidation team Smith & Williamson LLP who apparently now offer customer service, I am contracted & that’s it. I have sent numerous emails explaining that I wasn’t aware & I’m struggling to pay. I received an extremely cold & generic email stating my terms to pay till 2023. Clearly this company has no decency at all. Avoid and go with someone else.

I’m amazed at Duet Shop. I rented one electric acoustic guitar and they delivered it on my doorstep in a few days as we agreed, in perfect conditions, clean, exactly what I ordered and the cheapest option in the UK. Chloe helped me so much with everything, she was very supportive and friendly. Congratulations to everyone. I definitely recommend it.

I arranged to hire a guitar. I didn't receive it - they delivered it to an incorrect address, & it was proving so stressful dealing with them that I canceled the order. I have now discovered - many months later - that I have red mark on my credit report where it is claimed a payment was missed - a payment for the month after I had already cancelled the agreement, and no payment was due even before that, since no guitar was received.

A brilliant company which makes obtaining and owning good instruments easy. I have ordered the conservatoir cello, I haven't played for 25 years but I knew I didn't want a student type cello. This has made it very affordable. I do wish they had the delivery times more accessible on the instrument selection page rather than a general delivery on everything.

Ordered on 15th june. Arrived 16th june. FAST. Love the Squire contemporary jazz bass in deep red. Very happy.

I ordered a alto sax and am pleased with the condition and the sound. Is amazing that I can rent one since paying cash down could be too much. The deliver time was too long I guess but worth the wait

I chose to rent a full size cello with Duet Shop and I have to say they’re great!
The instruments are to the highest quality but they usually take 7-10 working days to be delivered which was an issue as I needed it as soon as possible. I made an enquiry about getting my Cello delivered to me as soon as possible and Chloe Hastings was extremely helpful, polite and understand about my enquiry even though they usually struggling to reduce the delivery time.
The order was dispatched within two days and I am very impressed with the efficiency of the company and how they look after their clients.
Highly recommend!

I spoke to natalie about renting a alto sax. Even with a bad credit rating it miraculously went through. She was lovely and very understanding of my circumstances. You can send back if not for you after 3 months payments, or carry on payments and you own your fab instrument. I want to upgrade soon so will see what happens. Spoke to Philip who's knowledge of saxophones is professional and my next upgrade will be a silver nickel sax. Hope they accept my next rubbish credit rating.
You get a top make of instrument to rent or buy and all the help you need and want. The best I've googled. So no need to go elsewhere.

Delivery was prompt and the prices are very reasonable.

It is really great to have the option of paying for an instrument in small instalments.

I was a little bit put off by the woman dealing with customer service who was a bit unpleasant and patronising when I accidentally put down my savings account instead of my current account for the direct debit. I was really apologetic and happy to give my current account info asap but she was having none of it. It was an honest mistake.

Excellent service and great range of quality instruments

Very good prices with option to leave the scheme after 3 months has allowed us to try out instruments with our kids (and me!) knowing that if they don't take to them we won't have wasted a lot of money. On the other hand, if you're committed to an instrument then the lower prices over 5 years help to buy the instrument that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise. Very quick service, excellent selection of instruments, quick responses to questions.

With the order I placed. I clearly got a confirmation of payment but after a number of emails back and forth Duet were satisfied all was well

Couldn't fault the staff and service. Been looking for a while now to an upgrade to a keyboard. Didn't see one I was looking for. So messaged them. And they got the digital keyboard arranger I was looking for. The staff kept me updated on how my order was going. I would definitely shop with them again. The delivery was as said. Brilliant

The Duet Shop couldn’t have been better. The website is super easy to use and the finance option is a god send. We received the flute in the specified time and they had protected it really well. Could not have have been better so full 5stars
