Polite, responsive and efficient. Made a significant effort to squeeze in an earlier survey for us because of our time constraints. I was surprised to find that the survey includes a drone overview, which is not advertised and some other providers make you pay for. Provided nothing unexpected comes up when we move, I would have no qualms recommending to a friend

Good at communicating and even providing extra support for finding building costs. Very fast feedback as well with an on day vocal report and written report shortly after.

Super easy to book a survey, communication was excellent, survey was excellent. I really can’t find any faults at all.

I have used this company 3 times in my recent house search. I have had a different surveyor each time and they have been excellent. I have been verbally updated on the day of the survey and the report received in less than 5 working days. The price is competitive and the waiting time to do the survey has been shorter than other. The surveys have been a good investment in avoiding buying properties with multiple issues and also to re negotiate the price.

Great service

Excellent service from start to finish, quick response for a very reasonably priced quote on a RICs level 3 survey. The surveyor was very diligent and gave an early insight report on the day of the survey with the full written report sent in 4 working days.
I’d highly recommend and will definitely be using their services again.

Thorough Report
I requested for an L3 survey and it was very thorough and detailed. Their recommendations and estimates were helpful. With a small cost difference, I am happy I went with an L3 survey. I would recommend using them.

Opted to use Dunford Penrose after reading previous trustpilot reviews and receiving a competitively priced quote. I received a quote for a level 2 homebuyers survey from Nikki and a follow up text message, any questions and queries I had were answered quickly (even after hours). Our survey was carried out by Paul who called me to give verbal feedback on the day, the survey itself gave excellent detail and insight making information easy to understand. A drone was used to gain aerial evidence of roofing and upper brickwork and plenty of images were provided to back up written information. I would recommend using Dunford Penrose.

We did a lot of searching before deciding on Dunford Penrose and we were so glad we went with them for a level 3 survey. This has been such a smooth process and the customer service has been faultless. Initially, we had some queries about the level 3 survey and Katie was very helpful with answering them. The survey itself was very comprehensive with lots of details and photographs. Jack, our surveyor, also called us on the day of the survey and provided a comprenshive overview of all the findings. In addition, we’ve also contacted Jack for a couple of follow up queries - he is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. We’ve been very impressed throughout from the initial enquiry to the follow up support. This has all been so helpful for our house purchase and I would highly recommend Dunford Penrose. The whole process from start to finish was very straightforward. From obtaining a query to discussing the survey, everything was explained clearly and concisely, excellent communication. Rosie and Ed were really great! They answered any questions and didn’t make me feel silly at all. They were really understanding and so helpful. Really great service and super friendly. Would highly recommend them. I had the level 3 survey which was really detailed and Ed offered to go through any points with me that I wasn’t sure of or didn’t understand. Also offered to help once I had time to read it which was lovely. I was very nervous going in being a first time buyer but they made the process easy and I felt confident afterwards. First class! They must be as this was my second time of using DPS.
I would highly recommend DPS as they are very customer focused and provide very clear and concise reports.
You can call the surveyor that inspected your potential purchase to clarify anything you may be uncertain of.
The survey report consists of many pictures with written explanations and a red,amber, green traffic light system indicating the urgency for any repairs that need to be addressed.
The report is extensive and informative with approximately 80 A4 pages.
The report also advised how to proceed with any potential repairs and approximate costs.
Well done Dunford Penrose I remain impressed.

Dealing with Dunford Penrose was very satisfactory. They responded quickly to our request for a lvl 3 survey ,the survey was carried out very soon after our request and the report was sent to us very promptly afterward. The report itself appears very professional and well written with numerous images to assist.

Fantastic service over the phone when arranging a quote and brilliant communication throughout. Amazed to fit our survey in so quickly and have a comprehensive phone call to discuss the findings, followed by a very extensive report the next morning. Outstanding service all round. So glad we chose Dunford Penrose rather than the dire organisation initially recommended by our estate agent!!!
