We recently just bought our first home and knowing what a stressful experience this can be, we were prepared for anything to happen but Hirakshi Shajpal and Annie Edwards were so amazing throughout the whole process - we never needed to worry! The other side were particularly slow and difficult during the enquiries stage but Hirakshi was proactive and swift with chases, updates and answers. Obviously as FTBs, we had many many questions but we were always given plenty of time to talk things through and patience while we digested the information we had been given. All the work done was incredibly thorough which put our minds at ease. We are so grateful to the team at DG and would 100% recommend for conveyancing!

Unfortunately, my experience with Nicky Marsh, who was appointed as my conveyancing solicitor, was disappointing. As a first-time buyer, I found her email communication to be unnecessarily rude, which made the process more stressful than it needed to be. Additionally, I found it extremely difficult to get in touch by phone, despite repeated attempts over several months

I used Dutton Gregory for conveyancing when it came to selling a property when the owner had moved into care. Alisha Binfield at the Woking branch provided an outstanding service. Hirakshi was very professional, efficient, and knowledgeable. When we hit various bumps in the road, as is often the case with these proceedings, she was able to resolve things promptly with clear communication.

I sent them an email over a week ago explaining my situation and asking if they thought my case was worth pursuing, and have had no reply. I'd have been fine with a simple "no, sorry we don't think you have a case here", but to not reply at all is just rude and unprofessional.

Throughout our process of getting our mortgage we couldn’t fault Dutton Gregory but when it came to completion we had issues that were out of our control but were firmly in theirs.

They then proceeded to lie to us on the phone multiple times and also avoid our phone calls until we persisted in calling for updates as it was going to effect our completion date.

Other than the issues with completion they were a very good solicitor to liase with but they did take a bit of prompting from me and my partner to inform us if there was any information needed in our application for our mortgage.

I found Dutton Gregory from a research online. I needed a solicitor for my divorce. I am 100% satisfied with their support. They were quick to do the job and to respond to all the emails. I am particularly grateful to Jonathan Whettingsteel who was able to explain the procedure in a simple manner to me so I understand. Also, I moved to Italy and I was to do everything online.
