Love Dwell and no issues.Great customer service response from Amy Faulkner.Bought many items and quality you pay for it is amazing. Thanks and see you soon.
Horrible customer care service
Sent us the wrong boxes as a result we had one box missing and unable to assemble our wardrobe! Tried contacting customer service and they have no phone number available. Everything should go through emails. When eventually contacted by customer care team instead of initiating immediately a replacement of the missing box they initiated an investigation to see what happened to the box! The customer care team is the worse team I have ever had an encounter with. Unable to give a resolution of the issue! We are a week post delivery and still trying to get the missing box! Avoid ordering from this company!
Brought the bronco black faux leather…
Brought the bronco black faux leather rocker has barely been sat on more ornamental. Its peeled off and looks shocking. Do not purchase its very poor quality
Shocking "guarantee" policy and customer "care"
I purchased a 6-10 seater extending dining table from Dwell. After just over a month, cracks emerged in all four corners of the table, directly above the seams where the edges of the table are joined. It was evidently clear that the table was poorly joined, and the weight of the table was being supported by the veneer on the top surface causing it to crack.
I spoke to Dwell customer service, who first tried to tell me this was the result of normal wear and tear. All four corners of the table cracking at exactly the same point of weakness, at exactly the same time, less than two months after taking delivery. Sure, somehow the result of normal wear and tear.
After I had disabused them of this preposterous notion, customer service then told me that the 2-year guarantee would only cover the item if I had reported the issue within 30 days of taking delivery, which effectively makes it a 30-day guarantee, not a 2-year guarantee.
Update: Dwell eventually agreed to a full refund, but it should not have been anywhere near this difficult.
Update 2: Dwell failed to pick up my faulty table (after a 2 week wait), and advised the next available slot would be 3 weeks away. So I now have to hold on to a broken 10 seater table for weeks because of Dwell's incompetence.
Bruco rocking chair and after sales service
I had bought bruco rocking chair which is not displayed in the showroom for trial. It's the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever owned and has given me a severe backache within a day. I want Ed to return this as a part of their 14 day no quibble returns policy but when I asked I was flatly refused saying that the packaging has been opened. It has cost me £269 under sale and now I m stuck with it and a severe backache. I have the packaging and can easily repack it but the customer support agent wouldn't budge. Such a disappointment.
I bought furniture for my flat from…Dwell
I bought furniture for my flat from Dwell . I am happy with the design and general construction . However it would seem they chose a plastic seating cover which frays very badly on 4 out of 6 chairs . I live on my own and am very careful in upkeep of my furniture . The company categorically refused to help . They suggested I take the chairs to a local repairer. They are aware of the fact I am 87 years old .
Poor quality and poor service
We bought a dining table and chairs (£119 each) from Dwell with a two year guarantee. Just after 2 years later one of the legs bent completely making the chair unusable. I asked if there was anything that could be done for a potential discount on a new chair on the basis we had 3 other chairs and needed to replace one and had paid £119 per chair however didn't want to pay full price on the basis one of the chairs had broken in such a short space of time to be told they don't offer any discounts, despite there being an October sale on and the chair being discounted by 30% in all other colours...
Customer service and quality of goods
Bought a side board approximately 4months ago of which has cracked on both laminated front corners. Pictures provided to Dwell as evidence, yet it is being suggested that it is ‘wear and tear’ or ‘imagined blunt force’. Bought previously from Dwell, however they have lost future sales.
This item is labelled as super tough
This item is labelled as hard wearing ‘super tough’ though when carried once a piece cracks.
This was in use for less than 6 months. It took 15 minutes for them respond that it’s not there problem and it is not covered with guarantee. What does a guarantee cover if not that usual use will cause cracks.
Dwell - I was impressed
Website ordering process was great.
It would have been good if all the sizes were shown online, I had to use the live chat to get more guidance on sizes which was so helpful.
The delivery booking system was fantastic! Lots of regular updates and the delivery team were great!

Disgrace for a company stay well away
Disgrace for a company stay well away! I've been on the phone to them countless times about a bed I'm meant to be getting, the customer service is shocking! They really do not have a clue about anything. Hands down the worst courier company I've ever known.

A bit disappointing
Ordering with Dwell was very easy but was told the courier would contact me about a delivery day and time which never happened as they just turned up when we were not there. Luckily the driver was very nice and waited for us to send someone to our address to accept the parcels. These situations are very annoying as we wasnt even in the country at the time.

Poor quality item and poor customer services
I have bought products from Dwell in the past without issue, however on this occasion the experience was very poor…
1. The biggest factor in our decision to buy the ‘Notch’ TV unit was the fact that the item description states ‘No assembly required; this is because my partner recently suffered a heart attack and finds assembling this type of product difficult. However the item came as a flat pack, and my partner did indeed ‘build’ the unit.
2. The item on the website looks like a rich oak, but this is not true of the actual product - I would describe the colour as yellow oak which makes the unit look cheap.
3. The item quality is lacking. The construction methods used are no better than those found on an Ikea-type product (no offence to Ikea) at half the price and uses the same fasteners, e.g. pins and cams with misaligned holes, plastic plates to hold the back panel in place.
In summary, I opted to buy this product as a) it was supposed to have been delivered already assembled, and b) I expected it to be of a higher qualify than it actually is - neither of these statements are true.
I engaged with Dwell via email to give them the opportunity to put things right and was told because the unit had been assembled there was nothing they were willing to do.
A reply from Dwell below blaming the consumer for their error - oh well, such is modern life.

Delivery
We ordered dining chairs which, according to your website, quoted delivery within 7 days. I enquired after 6 days to confirm delivery to be informed that Wincanton were the couriers. I contacted them who knew nothing about the delivery. Another call to Dwell and I now have delivery after almost three weeks since my order.

Worst Mattress Ever
Worst mattress ever. Do not buy! They come with a 5 warrantee but if the mattress sinks - which they do even the supposedly firm ones, or gets torn around the sides- which they do, after the 6 months you have to prove that this was a manufacturing defect. You have to get a report that they look at and then decide if it is in-fact covered by their warranty. My mattress was on a bed made by dwell.
I do not see anything there to investigate and I reported it less than a year in. They offered to send an investigator who would only come if you provide parking. You have to provide parking in central london for them to investigate and if you can’t well you need to apply for a permit, and if you do not, then that’s your problem. Isn’t it funny they only work with investigators in central london that require parking?
Most of us don’t even have cars because we do not want the hassle of dealing with finding parking. They make it so difficult that there is pretty much no point in offering a 5 year warranty. Bottom line is their furniture warrantee is does not stand.
Do not buy their mattress they are awful and they will give you back problems. I never had any and I bought their best quality mattress which sank in the middle within a few months during the second covid lockdown, and because I did not want someone coming during that time which would in-fact break the law at the time, and put the people in my household at risk, they claim I missed my 6 months period even though on one of our exchanges they had mentioned because of covid the time frame was 12 months and I reported the problem in that time frame.
It is on me the customer to prove it’s their fault seeing that I cannot provide parking. No where does it say on the mattress warranty, you have 6 months otherwise you will have to get a report and we will make it impossible for you, it says 5 years warrantee which gives you a false sense of security. Do not fall for it. Worst mattress ever! Seriously. I have other dwell furniture that are good quality but avoid their mattresses at any cost. You will regret it.

Great Service
I ordered an item from dwell that was for me quite expensive. There were some issues upon delivery. I contacted customer services and the problem was dealt with to my satisfaction and swiftly. While it’s inconvenient when things go wrong, I feel that how a company deals with it speaks volumes. Dwell have proven to handle this very well and I would happily promote the service. I have ordered numerous items from dwell and will continue to do so in future. I compliment dwell on their service and products

I' find everytime I' speak with a sales member, they just make my decision making very easy. The brand itself offers an additional 2 year warranty on a majority of all items sold. I' like the idea of 15 year sofa & chair frame, spring warranty:)
