Company provides fake book reviews
Dynasty Options Club is a fraudulent organization that can cause irreparable harm to an indie author. Here is why.
I engaged Dynasty Options Club for a program that increased the number of reviews of my book on Goodreads. They indicated that these would be legitimate reviews from real readers of my book.
What I got was 60 completely fake reviews. All the reviewers use the same format, joined Goodreads the same time, had one review (mine), and were listed as from Blue Bell, PA. The work was so sloppy that of the 60 reviewers profiles at least 30 had a man’s name with a woman’s picture, or a woman’s name with a man’s picture. One mans picture was used for two different women’s profiles.
If Goodreads recognizes these reviews as fraudulent, I could be banned from their site. It could have repercussions for my Amazon account as well since Amazon owns Goodreads. This would devastate my book sales.
The company has not taken down the fake reviews, although I have made multiple requests. They refuse to refund my money.
The company has a website indicating they are located in London, England. But an in-depth review suggests they are located in Nigeria. To obscure their location, they use a payment system called Coachli. Coachli has a registration in Delaware, USA, but the website is --.CO, Columbia. Research shows that they represent west Africa businesses. It is a way to obscure where these businesses are really located.
Attached is a file with 15 of the 60 fraudulent reviewer profiles.
Stay away from Dynasty Options, they are a fraud.
