Cevyn came and cleared the drain blockage very quickly, and made good, making sure that all was well afterwards. He was very courteous and clearly explained what he was doing and left the driveway clear. Thank you for the excellent service provided.

Booked late on a Sunday evening online, communication was immediate via text to confirm next day booking slot. This was followed up with a phone call first thing the next morning to explain costs and to see if I wanted to proceed. Then regular texts received to confirm when the engineer was on his way. An excellent service all round and would definitely recommend.

Through his investigations, the dyno rod engineer identified that it was possibly a Thames Water issue given the manhole cover he checked. However Thames Water identified today that there was a blockage within the boundary of the property albeit under a manhole in another resident’s garden and addressed it despite it being a management company responsibility. So possibly the engineer did not explore other causes thoroughly although was a very personable chap.

I would like to say how the engineer, Taylor H came on 27/1/2026 and very quickly sorted out the leak in the bathroom. Taylor is professional and polite. Taylor is an asset to the company (Dyno-Rod Plumbing Herts & Bucks) I would definitely recommend him.

I arranged an appointment for an engineer to help with a blocked drain for 23 Dec, they were a no show! They arrived the next day Christmas Eve!! I paid the standard £190 after they found a drain rod and disc via the drain camera which they said had been used from the direction of my neighbours property and presumably had mistakenly been left behind! I waited for the confirmation/report/quote to retrieve these items. After hearing nothing I contacted them around 6/7 Jan, they then provided me with a quote saying that they would have to dig up my pathway and dig down to remove rod and disc. They also stated on the quote that “the customer had buried the chamber” which I refuted. Anyway as I was unhappy that they weren’t prepared to attempt retrieval any other way I opted to contact another company. Yesterday a man arrived at my house at 9:30am by 10:15am the 2 rods and disc had been recovered and he was standing in my kitchen having a cup of coffee! He also confirmed there was no manhole cover that had been buried! There had been no need to dig anything up and the bill was considerably less than the total £1000+ in total I would have paid to Dyno Rod. To say I’m pleased I chose not to continue with Dyno Rod is an understatement.
Please be sure what service you are getting before the possibility of throwing away your hard earned cash unnecessarily.

Every person was polite and made sure I understood what would happen.

The engineer Simon was amazing! So polite and reassuring. Completed the blockage in a short time, washed everything down and tidied up. Excellent ambassador for his company.

Called in advance and arrived on time. Fixed problem, spent time explaining and was pleasant and very courteous.
