Chard Branch. Poor service and rude staff. Arranged a tower hire and quoted a price in branch. Called a couple of days later to confirm collection times and was told it they couldn't provide it in the size requested (and agreed). Rather than any apology or advice, they just put the phone down on me. Booked elsewhere with a proper hire company at a cheaper price.

I apologise for the recent experience you had with our Chard branch. I have spoken with the Co-Owner who you were dealing with and expressed your views; he was very apologetic.
His recollection of the incident was slightly different, however it would appear that when you originally called to get a price for the tower we had plenty in stock, but at the time of the actual hire we were short of the components needed to fulfil your order.
We would ordinarily move equipment from one of our other local branches but unfortunately we don’t offer tower at any of these so there were none available.
Again, please accept my apologies, we try our best to offer a second to none service at Eagle Plant, but it would appear on this occasion we have failed.

Customer Service as it should be
While researching the need for a part for a chain saw, I phoned Eagle Plant Tiverton to explain what I needed. After a technical discussion it was agreed that was the part required . I called in 2 hours later and the part had been sorted out and was there at the counter for my collection. Excellent service both on the phone and in store.
