I engaged Earthly Renewables Limited to construct an insulated external housing for a hot water cylinder for £2,000, which was paid in full. The structure was completed but was not built to the agreed dimensions or specification and was unsuitable for its intended purpose. Despite being given opportunities to rectify the issues, the contractor failed to do so and instead requested additional payment. The installation had to be dismantled and rebuilt at my own expense, incurring further material and labour costs. MyJobQuote investigated the matter, upheld my complaint, and the trader has since been removed from their platform. I would advise caution and recommend ensuring all specifications are clearly documented before proceeding.
