As long as you read your booking…

As long as you read your booking voucher you won’t have any problems, majority of bad reviews are from people who don’t read their booking voucher, instructions are pretty clear and the guys are very helpful.

Very bad car hiring company - Easirent

We rent a car from Easirent at Stansted airport close to London. I filled in the papers and also signed a full protection insurance, so we wouldn´t have any problems if something happened. When we came home we received an mail from Easirent who informed us that they would draw an amount of about 50 £ from our mastercard (they have taken copy of our card at the office without our permission) because the car we had rent had passed a road system where there should have been paid a road charge. I couldn´t understand this, first of all the letter which was forwarded was written in both english and danish with very bad translation into danish. We didn´t understand what the violation of the law was, so we wrote back that we were uncomprehending about the case. Easirent refer to the rental contract and that we as hiring persons are responsible for all payment during the rent period of the car. Easirent never informed us about road charges where you as a hiring person shall go on-line and pay for the charge. The charge was a very small amount compared to the fine which we vhere presented for when we came home. It seem to be a tourist trap and liability sign away from Easirent. I will never recommend Easirent, it is a very shifty company who took out of pocket expenses because they had taken copy of our payment card. I stopped Easirent in doing so, because I was not sure about the case. Afterwards we have paid about 100 £ to Euro Parking Collection, who has claimed us the charge, because Easirent didn´t acknowledge their responsibility.

I wish I could give these guys 10 stars…

I wish I could give these guys 10 stars because they were so helpful. After a 14 hour flight, with a young baby and problems with car rental due to credit cards I was not in a good place to sort out issues. But Marius and (Serge I think) went above and beyond looking after us to make sure everything was fixed. There were 5 of us so we needed a larger vehicle and had multiple problems that Marius was only too happy to help us with. They said we could keep our luggage there and pick it up later if necessary and made us get the best deal possible that was available to us. I came back a few times and even with our constant problems (our own not their fault) they did all they could to help us. These guys are a credit to Drivalia and I'd like to say thank you so much for all that you did our rental worked perfectly and we managed to get to everywhere we wanted wih no issues. We had an amazing holiday and it was made possible by youuys. Thank you so much heroes and gentlemen! P.S We weren't the only people at the center at the time too, so they were also looking after other customers too! Unbelievable customer service thanks again!
Thanks from

Don't rent a car from this company!

1. I booked a car from booking, with full insurance. They know you have no other option they force you to pay another 113 pounds for additional insurance if you don't pay they reserve 1500 pounds from your bank account. Тhey only accept credit cards. If you want to pay with a debit card, they force you to buy their expensive insurance even if you already have third party insurance.
2. TFL fines me for making a prohibited turn (no right turn) After checking Google Maps, I also sent a friend of mine who lives in London to photograph the street where it is allowed to turn in both directions. (in which I appealed and will pursue my rights to the end.) Then they charge 55 pounds for one email where they send me for administration fees?!
I am very disappointed with this company, I do not recommend it!!! I'm not about the money, the annoying thing is that they make you look like a fool.

Easirent UK is operated by a bunch of con men

The trick of Easirent (aka Drivalia) is suck you in with their low price, during collection of car, they try to scare you by selling to you their full protection insurance at 3-4x the market price. Give you a car with minor scratch and due to winter early darkness, no way you can detect the scratch but told you that you can take photo the next morning. However, when you return the car, they said photo taken next morning is not acceptable. I got charged GBP270 for a minor scratch that is not caused by me. And this is a"punishment" for not taking up their super expensive full protection insurance. Comment from the staff said, 'thats why we are blocking your deposit and hence it doesnt matter if you dont agree to the charge of the damage not caused by the customer'. After charging the extra for the 'damage', they still dont provide you a final invoice and Discovercars.com insist they must have then only they can reimburse. Therefore, this to me is a trap for sucking you in due to cheap price, rip you off with the super expensive full protection insurance, 'punish' you if you dont buy the insurance when you return the car for the most minor scratch that was not caused by you!!! So beware guys and do not fall for this scam.

Although it says that Dropping off at Stansted Airport is conveniently next to airport it’s not! I took 2 hours trying to find where in the airport Drivalia office is, spent 2 hours calling there office and no one ever answered my call and when finally I managed to see the drop off area (with the help of an airport security) I complained with the guy on duty and his answer was “we had clients” I told him that I’m late for my flight, how am I going to the airport, he invited me to catch a taxi! I lost my flight 😡 The worst car rental experience I’ve ever had

I hired an Easirent car via Ryanair

I hired an Easirent car via Ryanair. Mistake! The Easirent office is off the airport site, nowhere near the main rental offices, and there was no information on how to get there. They didn't answer the phone and there was no time to get a taxi there before their office closed. I presume they went home early. I was left stranded at the the aiport at 1 in the morning, waiting for an expensive taxi to my destination. When I called Easirent the next day there was no regret or apology, and they refused to discuss a refund, saying I had to go through Ryanair. Predictably, the Ryanair customer services desk at the airport don't manage refunds. Conclusion - avoid Easirent and don't use use Ryanair for anything other than an aeroplane.

Should change name to EASI-SCAM

1. Scammed at Stansted by an extremely rude man - Diago - into having to pay over £50 for an upgrade I didn’t want for an Awful car

2. Scammed into paying twice, when I knew it had gone through

3. Scammed by customer services who didn’t press the “escalate” button after 5 emails

4. Scammed again by your finance team who haven’t refunded in 5 working days

Just what sort of an organisation is this??

Perhaps they should change their name to EASI-SCAM ??

I want my money back and I want compensation

Please send me the contact details for your MD, if I have to find them myself, I will, and add it to the long list of unacceptable customer service issues

I have personally seen several other appalling incidents both when I collected the car and when I brought it back.

Do you have any happy customers at Stansted??
