Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 714 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers found the service to be poor, with long wait times for shuttles and at the rental desk, and issues with the car pickup process. People also frequently encountered problems with the vehicles themselves, such as poor condition, cleanliness issues, and mechanical failures. Reviewers were also dissatisfied with the pricing, often facing unexpected additional fees and insurance costs that significantly increased the initial quoted price. The off-site location of the rental pickup was a common complaint, requiring extra travel time and effort. Conversely, some people found the staff to be pleasant and helpful, specifically mentioning positive interactions with certain employees. However, other customers reported rude and unhelpful staff interactions, particularly regarding insurance and additional charges.

Great experience from start to finish

Information was complete, shuttle both to and from were on time. Staff was friendly and helpful- especially Demarius at the Las Vegas location. Very informative and polite. From beginning to end, everything went smoothly and there were no surprises. Price was the most competitive too- bonus!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Literally waited like for ever to get a car. Thank God the two guys came and made it faster unlike the two ladies. They were so slow and one of them whose a plus size had a very nasty attitude.

Unorganized

Unorganized, rude, added smoking fee when we don’t even smoke, gave us a hard time extending the vehicle, recharged me online and then charge me again after pickup! Scammers

Disappointed

First, I do want to mention the staff was very respectful, however, they charged me$67 for tolls and where I needed to I didn’t need to drive through any tolls. I was literally staying 10 minutes away from their office where I picked up the rental. They did not want to give me a refund. That is what I call a scam. Also, I’m driving the on the second day I realized the car has expired inspection stickers. What in the world?!?!? Horrible place I do not recommend anyone to rent from this establishment.

Rented at Sky Harbor

Rented at Sky Harbor, Phoenix, AZ. First had to take tram to Rental Car Complex, then waited 30 minutes for the shuttle to car site. When dropped off, I was 12th in line with one service rep working. Had time constraint, so I was able to talk myself a couple of people closer. Once at counter was forced to buy their car insurance, even though I had USAA rental document with me acceptable in all states. After receiving the keys, it took my 15 minutes to find the vehicle, for it was on the opposite side of the building. When I returned home I attempted to contact the company to request a credit for the car insurance. I could not talk with anyone, so I filed online. Quickly got a response denying my request. I then contacted my Visa credit card to issue a dispute. They immediately credited my account and began looking into the problem. It took 3 months, but they resolved my claim in my favor. Since I went through all of the channels, I would advise any others to do the same. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM EASIRENT AGAIN!!!!!!

The gentlemen at the counter were nice…

The gentlemen at the counter were nice and got a car ready when I had booked the wrong dates with priceline. The man who helped me said he couldn't adjust a 3rd party booking, but he could cancel it and then book my vehicle with the company. I didn't think to look when I got home, but this morning, realized I was still booked for a car thru priceline. It was never canceled! So I had to pay something. Had I not checked, I may have been on the hook for the whole rental time even tho I would not have even gone to get the car.

# ⭐ **Easirent Las Vegas – Extremely Deceptive and Stressful Experience (October 2025)**

# ⭐ **Easirent Las Vegas – Extremely Deceptive and Stressful Experience (October 2025)**

I rented a vehicle from Easirent’s **Las Vegas location** for one week in **October 2025**, and the experience was by far the most frustrating and misleading rental process I’ve ever encountered.

### **1. Bait‑and‑Switch Pricing**
The price shown on their website was **hundreds of dollars lower** than what I was charged at pickup. Once I arrived, the staff informed me that because I would be driving into a neighboring state, the price would **increase by $800**. This was never disclosed during booking.

### **2. Pressure to Buy Their Insurance**
I planned to use my own auto insurance, but the branch manager reviewed my policy and claimed it didn’t cover tires or the windshield. Because of that, I was told I had to leave a **$1,000 “refundable” deposit** unless I purchased their insurance. It felt like a tactic to force customers into buying add‑ons.

### **3. Wrongful Damage Claim**
Thankfully, I took detailed photos of the car at pickup and return. When I brought the car back, I specifically pointed out that there was **no new damage**, and the staff acknowledged it.

Despite that, at the end of October I discovered that Easirent had **withheld my $1,000 deposit**, claiming “windshield damage.” When I disputed it, they demanded proof from me—which I provided immediately. When I asked for *their* evidence, they had none. They simply said the inspector “marked” damage.

### **4. Three‑Month Battle to Get My Refund**
In early November, they agreed the deposit should be refunded but said it needed “regional manager approval.” That became the standard excuse for **over three months**. I had to follow up **at least 10 times** via phone and their website between November 2025 and February 9, 2026. Only then did they finally return the deposit.

### **5. Overall Impression**
This experience left me with the strong impression that:

- **They advertise low prices to lure customers in, then dramatically increase the cost at pickup.**
- **If you decline their insurance, they use the deposit system to hold your money hostage.**
- **They make it extremely difficult to recover deposits, even when you have clear evidence.**

### **Recommendation**
I strongly recommend avoiding Easirent. The combination of deceptive pricing, aggressive insurance tactics, and unjustified deposit withholding makes this company feel **untrustworthy and predatory**. There are plenty of reputable rental companies—save yourself the stress and choose one of them instead.

Wait times too long

Wait times too long. There are only 1 or 2 employees working. Shuttle takes a very long time to come and go. Very inconvenient from the airport. We almost missed our flight because of that. We ended up paying double of what was quoted initially. Better book another company.

Easirent at Palm Beach is absolutely…

Easirent at Palm Beach is absolutely the worst car rental service I have ever experienced. I waited one hour and 30 minutes for a pickup at the airport after calling them several times. They advertise a pickup service every 30 minutes. Also, they charged a $158.08 toll fee for a 10-day rental, even though no tolls were incurred during that time. The car was filthy inside and out and required an oil change as rented. I recommend not accepting their toll option feature.

I’m not sure quite where to begin

I’m not sure quite where to begin, first of all we waited for over an hour at the curb at the airport for the shuttle to come get us. Eventually, an SUV pulled up and could only take some of us since the shuttle was not currently operating. We unsafely jammed a bunch of us into an SUV since many of us were now running extremely late after waiting for an hour. Unfortunately, once we arrived at the rental facility there was already a long line and only one person helping customers. We waited in line an hour and 15 minutes with a total from the time our plane landed to the time we left with the car being three hours. Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. On a happy note many people in line behind us left without a car since they ran out. We were grateful to even have received a car. I highly recommend renting from another company!

Worst experience ever

I
Rented a car in DFW and traveled 4 hrs away. As nightfall came, I realized that my headlight was out and the one that worked was pointing to the ground about 10’ in front of the car. I called multiple times and even suggested that I could change the bulb myself as long as they reimburse me for the light. Called multiple times and got the same answer over and over again..”we will call you back”. Never called at all and I ended up having to not be able to drive after 6:30pm. Then I mention it to the DFW crew and they couldn’t give a darn. All that combined with the hard sell of insurance and toll schemes left a hard “Never again” in my mind. Horrible customer service isn’t even a beginning to this company.
