My first time ordering of eason but after this I won’t be ordering again they sent me math copies didn’t even say it was math copies and I bought so much of them as well I want a refund the they should be more clear next time I hate Eason yes I admit the delivery was fast Eason is just scamming us at this point they’re stuff is so overpriced in real life but so cheap online I order online so much and out of every place I ordered from this is by far the worst

Promised 1-2 day delivery. Item only got dispatched 3 days after. And the address was written wrong so it was returned back. Customer service didn’t even apologize for the delay, just casually said that they wrote the delivery address wrong. Not recommend.

My orders arrive in perfect condition. Price is a little high for some things, and the fact that stores have different prices from the website is less than ideal. Generally though, haven't had an overly negative experience here. Wish that the click and collect service was better, limited selection. Doesn't really make much sense to have online exclusive prices on click and collect items, since you can arrange for collection and get it cheaper than visiting instore normally.

Staff are awful in easons in ennis very unhelpful chatting too much amongst them selves instead of doing there job properly

The online bookshop is great. Good prices with superfast delivery and impressive customer service. Very easy to make a return.

I visited Easons in Shop St. Galway today to start my Christmas shopping by buying a few books . I enquired about the returns policy over the Christmas period only to be told its the usual 28days, one girl said it would 'probably' be extended , the rest of the staff had no idea. Surely with just over 5 weeks left till Christmas they should realise that people have started their shopping and would like to give the recipients of a gift the option of an exchange at least , very disappointing

The worst customer service ever, they cancelled my order 3 days after my payment and now have to wait 5 days for refund!!! Because of them my child wont get present the worst company ever avoid !!!!!

Tried to buy online, chose the book, confirmed all information, logged in with my account, put the payment details and received a message “we were unable to process your payment”but they took from my bank account. It happened twice. So I have to call customer service for refund. Usually I try to buy online from Irish Companies to support local but Amazon is better for books.

Went to Eason store in Thurles, Tipperary and had a book voucher for €15.00, chose 3 children's books for my niece and when I got to the counter was told that these were not classed as books and vouchers could only be used for novels. What an absolutely ridiculous policy. A book is a book. They will never have my custom again.

I ordered something for school for my child and a gift for a friend at 4pm and the next morning it was at my door, I'm very impressed and it was free delivery, I also got items at a good price, there fast with home delivery still cant believe it got here that quick ! 😊😁

I ordered schoolbooks a week ago. I got a vague email that it’s in the warehouse ready to dispatch and I’ll get a message when it’s ready to collect from the store. A week later, nothing. I contacted the customer service via (the auto responder says they will respond in ‘due course’- zero time commitment). They told me to contact the store, I contacted the store, they didn’t know where my order is or even a rough timeframe for when it would arrive. I asked to cancel the order. They told me to contact customer service. I contacted customer service they couldn’t give me a timeframe, so I cancelled my order. Don’t bother ordering with them unless you have all summer to wait for your school book.

I bought a book I needed urgently with an expected delivery time of 3-4 days - I chose Easons as they were an Irish supplier, and so assumed would deliver fastest - despite the book being €10 more expensive than other suppliers online. Almost 2 weeks later and still no sign of my book and a lack lustre response from their customer service team. I could have ordered from an Australian supplier and had the book by now. Never doing business with this company again and would advise anyone else to choose a more trustworthy supplier.

Most helpful in every aspect

Magazines published with purchased offers in sterling. Those offers are not fulfilled by easons. The exchange rate is not respected with items being 25% or more expensive when translated to euro. Staff don't care and try to convince you that you are wrong. Customer service line closed and won't take messages. Stationary and magazine pirates.

Brilliant service books arrived really quickly

I'm from Germany and ordered several items from Easons because I couldn't get them in my country. Delivery was super fast and my order was here within a week. Unfortunately one of the items was faulty (not to blame Easons but the manufacturer). I contacted the customer service and they responded very quickly and a replacement was shipped the same day. Thank you, I will order again from Easons.

I’ve been going to Easons for longer than I can remember, mostly online these days. They’ve always fulfilled my orders quickly and efficiently and I’m very happy with them.

Despite the fact that Easons is often much more expensive than Amazon and has a very poor website,
(currently, the order history is broken!
"Unfortunately, the order history functionality is not currently available.") I like to avoid Amazon and support an Irish company if I can, but the service is so poor that I'm giving up ordering online from Easons.
I recently ordered a book that was in stock, and with the black Friday discount and a 5 euro voucher from VHI/Parkrun the price was OK. A few days later I get an email
"I regret to inform you that we are sold out of ...
As we are unable to supply this item a refund ...".
It's not acceptable to cancel orders like this, this never happens with Amazon, when this happens Amazon give the option of canceling the order or waiting while they try to source the item at the promised price.

I have been ordering online from UK for several years and there seems to be a problem with delivery and tracking. Now only the items that seem to come from a UK address arrive quickly but the ones that are coming from Ireland just seem to disappear! The last two orders I have had to notify them of items not delivered, so new ones are sent out, they do not seem to be able/willing to discover what the issue is ,but often the items have the wrong tracking on and get lost in the Irish postal system. It is fine for delivery to my relatives in Ireland though using a currency card.
