DO NOT DEAL WITH EASY CAR BUYERS under…
DO NOT DEAL WITH EASY CAR BUYERS under any circumstances.
Their business model is framed around making you an offer that will just barely get you on the hook. From there, they will attempt to negotiate the price DOWN, rather than up towards your preferred sale price.
If you drive the car regularly (school drop-off, work runs etc) this will result in their “System” reducing the offer. If their workshop inspectors find anything that looks frivolously unsightly underneath (normal wear and tear, but still perfectly roadworthy) this will also be fed into their “System” and the offer will again be reduced, sometimes by several thousands of dollars for no justifiable reason. If you are advertising your vehicle on Carsales.com (or similar) and make any advert alterations after Easy Car Buyers have made their offer, their “System" will again reduce the offer.
The process of uploading all service records in chronological order, multiple images of all ID plates, etc is ridiculously onerous. Their staff are woefully inept at responding to queries and would not call when requested to do so.
I have purchased and sold more than 20 vehicles for myself and family members over the years, and this was without doubt the worst experience of all time. If you have any sanity, you will, like I eventually did, tell them to shove it. Do not, under any circumstances, deal with Easy Car Buyers.
