BEWARE; YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO CANCEL THE TRIAL SUBSCRIPTION AND THEY WILL KEEP TRYING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY
BEWARES: You will not be able to cancel subscription and they will keep charging you.
I paid for the 3-day trial.
I then decided it wasn't for me.
The problem was and that I couldn't log in because my email verification wasn't delivered to me.
I contacted Easyusenet to to let them know I wanted to cancel and that I couldn't log in to do that.
To the reply I got back was unhelpful is an understatement. What it actually was was argumentative, so instead of just cancelling it for me, I was asked to try to find the email which wasn't delivered and also wasn't in my spam folder.
I asked them to cancel it for me, there was still no want to do that for me.
I told them they have two options:
It was they're legal obligation to cancel and they can either do that for me or don't do it and I report them to trading standards.
Long story short, they still refuse to do it, so I had to get my bank account to block future outgoing payments to this company.
This is the exact response I had from customer service from a guy called Thomas. Just sell the company know:
For the record, I don't think it's a threat to ask a company to cancel a subscription so I don't get charged anymore.

If you want to resort to threats, go ahead - we won’t engage with that.
Yes, the subscription can be cancelled as of February 28, 2026, and that’s how it’s currently listed in our system. However, we haven’t received a payment for it yet, so the invoice remains open.
You personally signed up for a recurring subscription and have used our service. Gmail has accepted and delivered all our emails.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read that your experience with our service has been negative. We would like to provide some clarification from our side.
On 25 January 2026, a recurring subscription was created and activated via our website. Following this, several automated emails were sent to the email address provided, including a confirmation and verification email. According to our systems, these messages were successfully delivered.
The subscription can be cancelled at any time through our website or by contacting our support team. Our records show that no login attempts or contact requests were registered before the renewal date. The first contact took place on the day the subscription was renewed.
During this contact, we explained that the emails may have been delivered to a spam or junk folder and asked that this be checked. We also explained that the subscription had already been activated and used.
In the subsequent correspondence, we confirmed that the subscription was cancelled effective 28 February 2026. At that time, the payment for the active subscription period was still outstanding. The cancellation was processed in accordance with our terms and conditions.
At a later stage, further contact took place in a constructive and friendly manner. Following this conversation, we confirmed that the subscription had been cancelled retroactively. This later communication and its outcome are not reflected in the above review.
We regret that our explanation did not lead to a more positive experience and are sorry that this resulted in a one-star review.

Used their service for a month, and it works really well. A Black Friday deal came along, and I jumped at the chance to buy a year. Don't really use usenet a lot, just nice to have when I need it.
