This company needs investigating by the Government.They Enable thousands of people to be scammed both sellers and buyers .
I had anIPhone X and £305 stolen by a scammer living in Southampton .
eBay have done nothing and they are chasing me for £1 selling fees.
The customer service is not fit for purpose the Facebook customer service have the same scripted responses .
If you contact the Police it’s civil matter and they don’t get involved .
I have used eBay for fifteen years but I will never used it again or PayPal as they have the same appalling ethics .
Something seriously needs doing and I advice everyone who has lost money etc to complain to their MP

really bad service!!! Dont buy anything. didn't receive 2 package. No refund and just a message from resolution service that they are sorry but my package must be lost. so I will not get my items and they can't help me with refund.

not a bad platform, allot of cheap people their and scammers. but there are good people to. however, its all one sided, only for buyer protection.. sellers are not treated the same as buyers. sellers often get scammed, but the good part is its pretty easy to sell on ebay.

prompt shipping,honest, very professional & ethical business Ebay has been so far. i look forward to more business transactions and long lived relationship with Ebay i'm still new but so far all has been phenomenal.

I have been with ebay 14 years use them constantly spent thousands i have 100% feedback but as of today am done with them i complained my nectar points had not been put on my card, next day they were put on a week later they removed them now they say they have to investigate so will miss the double up day!!!! which i have saved all year for. I don't want useless apologies i want it dealt with and them to take responsibility for their actions. So have made my last purchase through ebay.

This guarantee is about as much use as a soup fork.
A recent purchase has not been delivered but Hermes now claim that it was delivered and left securely in porch 10 days ago.Their tracking being edited 10 days after the so called delivery. It was not left securely in porch as this is simply not possible, and I was home on the 'delivery' day.No card or other notification of delivery.
Ebay, bless their cotton socks, will only consider a refund if I prove delivery did not take place!! and I produce a letter from Hermes saying that they did not deliver the purchase to me. They say that they rely on their couriers( false) tracking page.
I have pointed out that it is up to the courier to prove delivery and that they should have obtained a receipt for delivery, apart from not having any authority to dump the parcel, wherever it went.

Ebay is always my first port of call. Can shop in confidence that even if something doesn’t arrive you’ll still get money back.

Have many issues with eBay lately. Including the items I bought and then getting a message from the sellers that these items were out of stocks or broken, etc. Also being scammed by a seller. I bought a modem and received a plastic travel bag. eBay still working on the refund and it has been 2 weeks. I think Amazon is a better choice.
I called eBay customers service and got routed to the Philippines calls center. The supervisor was reading a guideline to me on a book manual. Sad!

E bay make its hard to complain and will NOT do anything about the company's ripping people off they are still aloud to trade.
E bay don't care as long as they make there money

Ebay has become a useless company its impossible to contact them by email and they ignore twitter messages they just have it in for us disabled people that can't phone SHAME ON THEM

I shop on EBAY alot for many different things they are great and if there is a problem you cannot solve with a seller EBAY always backs their money back guarantee. I love shopping with them.

I bought a memory stick Kingston 4GB 4G PC3-12800U DDR3 1600MHz from royalroadshopping . It arrived fine but proved to be defective. In the seller’s return policy the swindler claims that he pays for returns. I contacted the seller within ebay correspondence about that and presented proves of the item being defective. The seller agreed to refund me after I send the item back to him. I told him how much it will cost him. He wrote in our messages that he will refund me after I show proves of sending the item, and after receiving the item he will refund me the shipping cost. He agreed to all that in writing in ebay correspondence. For those saying , that I should have insisted on seller buying me the return label, I say the return labels don't work in my country (Israel). Anyway to cut the story short: the seller did refund me for the cost of the stick, but not the shipping. The memory stick returned to the seller according to tracking and he claimed it, but he insisted that in actuality he didn't receive it. No amount of back and forth messages with the seller or with the ebay support team yielded any results. The seller didn't refund me the shipping cost, claiming he didn't actually receive the item. I opened investigation within israeli post office. They asked for official seller declaration of delivery failure. The seller didn't provide it. That's how I know that he is a swindler and not somebody who suffered mail delivery failure. The seller of course has good rating and even golden status, and still lies about paying for the return shipping.

Only been using eBay for a couple of months but so far service has been excellent! Even when I decide to return a purchase and get a refund everything went smooth and I sent the item back and received a 100% refund the same day that the seller got the item I sent back.

I've been using this site since 5 years. and every time it returned me what's I ordered.
