After several times that I act as a buyer I tried to sell a pair of shoes without return accepted ( I am not a business and the description was very simple). Buyer start to complain about the quality of my shoes, it can happen, and at the end ebay decided to refund completely the buyer and also decided that he could keep my shoes. Lucky him!

I lost money and shoes.

Thanks ebay! I feel as robbed

So tired of Chinese companies claiming to be in UK and Ebay does nothing to stop this blatant abuse of trading. Ebay are only concerned about their profits at the expense of their customers. There's no point in using the location filter as it totally ignores the actual location of the seller.

Bad website.
It needs to be re-programmed.
I bought three items about 40-60 days ago, and i didn't receive any of them.
When i made a return request none of sellers responded, Then i closed return - closed for other reason: "will wait 10 days more", And i thought by closing the return request, I will receive it then.
I prefer Souq.com It's better than ebay a lot.
I'm a senior web programmer and i can full re-program their website in less than 2 months, but they don't even care about their customers, and they doesn't have even a contact Email address like souq.com

Terrible customer service . It seems now that there are too many asian sellers masquerading as uk sellers with uk stock . I have just had several shocking experiences where new items are second hand and the goods are non existent and sold multiple times .feedback is unreliable now as sellers are demanding good feedback in all instances .ebay is unwilling to address these issues as are more interested in seller fees than buyer satisfaction . And seem to not have understood that a returning buyer will create more revenue.

Items are being sold that don't match the description and when you give a honest rating the sellers harras you.

Recent purchase was undelivered and had so much trouble with the supplier and delivery store that i asked ebay to step in
They called me straight back and the young lady actually listened to my whole story before putting me on hold ( 2mins if that) said she had emailed supplier and told them to resend the delivery at no extra cost to me ( bet they hated her) and she enailed the delivery/pick up store and told them to contact me as soon as it arrived

Ebay is like marmite. It's a double edged sword. You can choose who you buy from but it's a lottery who buys from You!

As a buyer it's great. All the support, no bad reviews & untouchable status. There are wonderful items to be had & you will get generic good buyer reviews you probably don't deserve for doing nothing.

Not so great as a seller. You are not favoured, severely judged, get all the fees, stress & potential punishments plus the added joy of time wasters & non collectors etc.

Ebay need to police the site fairly or smaller sellers will go elsewhere. Where good sellers go, buyers will follow. There are scammers/dishonesty on both sides of the fence. As 'users' we just have to be realistic & respectful either way.

Reviews are worthless. The worst seller I ever bought from had a big number & 100% good feedback. This was all aquired from mass buying not selling. Also some of the most reliable, sweet buyers have been new to eBay with no scores.

It's a lottery. Use your sixth sense & ride it out. Just as you lose all faith in mankind somebody restores it.

I've been a loyal costumer to eBay through 7 years. I've tested "wish", "amazon", "alibaba" & many more sites, and for me there's no doubt: eBay is the best place to buy *anything* online. They always have a quick solution for any issue or delay. They are very trustworthy and if possible, i would have given them more than these 5 stars! :) Keep on going eBay!

I bought the items and received socalled tracking numbers..
The tracking numbers could not be tracked i in any system.
Suddenly I receive a mail claiming that there has been a delivery attempt, a note left in my mail box and that the packge is delevered to some pickup point. BUT NO INFORMATION about Where and Who.
I as accompanied by some useless tracking infomation.
I was home all day and did not receive any notice i my mail box.
I wrote to Ebay., they contacted seller, who sent more useless information and stating it was Royal Mail, who delivered the package.
Well we do not have Royal Mail in Denmark, so they must have passed it on to somebody else.(but who?)
I contacted Post Nord,- the dansh mail company..They opened a case, but even provided all the information I passed on to them, they could not find anything.
I provided all information to Ebay C.S., but they ignored me, even though I queried/polled them.
Suddenly they inform me that seller has claimed to have delivered the package and they close the case.
Now I sit here with no money, no package and NO information of where it might be.
I write this report because I beleive to have been exposed to fraud,
without knowing who did it, healthyliving_u.k Ebay, some obscure delivery comapany or all of them

I'm truly addicted to ebay.

I know that there's a lot of cheap products to look out for on ebay. But the prices are well worth the risk. Furthermore, ebay ALWAYS take your side if you don't receive the items you ordered or if the items doesn't look like the pictures and descriptions.

In my experience you should look out for extremely cheap prices, bad or no reviews of the sellers and clothes from China (unless they're a label you already know).

Ebay works best if you know exactly what you want and you can get free shipping. It will take the items 4-8 weeks to reach you, but usually you can get more than 50% off.

In my country Korean beauty products isn't available yet, and this is my only way of getting it. But it's still cheaper than buying the cheapest stuff in my local supermarkets. I love it! And I've started buying stuff for my entire family this way.

...but now it is very bad. I will not buy from Ebay anymore,

I've been waiting almost a month and still havent recieved the item

Great website to find all sorts of items. But something really bad about the website is all the fraud. I have experienced it twice, that i bought something, but never got it.

I use ebay.com with no problems.
