I have 2 heaters on a yacht. One has just failed, reasons unknown. I am being quoted a "best case" of mid to late October before an engineer from one of their dealers can see it.

Don't ever but one of their hot water…
Don't ever but one of their hot water units... unreliable and very expensive to repair/service! I've had one fitted to my Motorhome since 2012 and it's never worked properly. I took it in for a service last year which ended up costing £368 as the ECU said it needed a new blower motor but it was still unreliable. This year I took it back to the repairers who said that the ECU needs replacing as it tells them the blower motor needed replacing again.... basically the computer which tells the engineers what is wrong was giving false info so now they want a further £380 to replace the ECU PLUS a burner chamber....
