Company is a rip off
we had health insurance through this company from my husband former employee; Southeastrans, LLC in Indianapolis, main branch located in Atlanta, GA. Southeastrans, LLC first used Health scope benefit as the Administrator until 12/31/20, but was still allowing Health scope benefit to continue speaking with their employees from Southeastrans, LLC. Now mind you EBMS keep stating they did not start with Southeastrans, LLC until April 2019, but that's not true, because, I spoken with a customer representative at Health scope Benefit by the name of Lavern and, she stated that on 12-31-2019 the company group term gave way to EBMS. This company was our insurance company all that time, but refused to pay for bills that were accumulated, it took three years for this company to pay bills that they wanted to approve, my husband accident was 3-31-19, we paid over $600 plus dollars to this third party administrator to deny majority of the bills until, I stated the Insurance Commissioner would be contacted. Now my husband accident is being settled the company refused to pay Regional Health in Portage, IN and the physician bill that totaled $8668.20, but put a lien to get reimbursed over $12, 0000 this is some b*** s***, you refuse to pay the bills, we paid into the insurance and they feel they should be compensated. These third party administrators need to be shut down, people do not have money falling out of the sky, if we pay for the services through any insurance through jobs or whatever, "PAY THE DAMN BILLS" not what you think should be paid. I do not care how long it takes, even if the news has to get involved it stops today ripping people off, if EBMS feels they can get reimbursed for money they pay out, then all the money we put in should be returned, I will write however in Washington, DC to get my voice heard. EBMS is not allowed to take money my husband will need to continue seeing doctors due to this Concussion he has endured from accident their is no amount of money that can pay, what he has experienced then all the way up to now. I dont understand how EBMS benefits services can sleep at night or Southeastrans, LLC can have Healthscope Benefits administrator in place, get rid of them, but continue letting the company speak to us making us think, we are insured and EBMS has the account since 12/31/19, I have reached out to Southeastrans, LLC but there HR department, Pamela Ballard/Cynthia Love Bush are the nastiest individuals, I have meet and the company allow this behavior to take place, I then reached out to the chief of HR in Atlanta, GA she never responded. Truly a sad company, please be aware of what you're signing when you get insurance from your jobs, I am not saying everyone is like this, but just beware
