What a nightmarish experience. It’s been 6 weeks since I cancelled my flight and still cannot get my money refunded. Avoid at all cost. The customer service is the worst

Should you think about best price guarantee for hotels, Forget it. You never get this as there are many exceptions and rules how these dudes try to avoid this. The same as the Bonus+ advantages. They try to atract you by loyalty programs and guarantees, but when it comes to action they rather save few Euros, than to keep you in peace and happy. They are even ready to lie in recorded phone calls.. and the CS instructed so.. Shame on Expedia and Ebookers in Germany.

I cant understand how this criminals are not prosecuted in EU... just stay away and dont fall on this scam, pay a bit more to have enjoyable holiday...

unless you want to up paying more for your luggage than your flight.
I recently booked from Bali to Colombo.

There was no facility online to book luggage.

I had to call EBOOKERS and they told me I could purchase 20kgs at the airport for $48.

On arrival at the airport I WAS CHARGED $364 which is more than double the cost of my flight !!!

Trying to explain to the airport staff simply resulted in smug smirks as they relieved me of my money.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR FLIGHT WITH EBOOKERS

I will update my review If someone can provide a solution to this situation.

Worst customer support! DO NOT BOOK THERE!

The price at the moment of booking is not conform to the final price of the trip and you don't get any information on the difference (no answer on mails, FB or somewhere else), very bad service!

As often, this website is okay if there are no problems with your trip. But beware if something goes wrong!

I had booked a business class ticket to the US for 3000 eur. My flight got cancelled and I could not be rebooked, so my ticket got cancelled. I asked ebookers to refund my money, they needed one month with every now and then an email with some kind of lame excuse, to finally tell me they are not paying me back and I need to ask the airline. Then why am I booking through a travel agency?

The airline saw I had booked the ticket through ebookers and insisted I ask ebookers for a refund. The both kept on pointing at each other, refusing to pay me back.

Finally I filed a complaint against both and I claimed my money back from the credit card company. Mastercard paid me back within 2 days.

I would not recommend ebookers to anyone! Just book at the airline directly.

I booked 4 months ago a rental car via ebookers and since then I am receiving promotional mails from that company. Neither the website nor the mails offer the possibility to unsubscribe. I even contacted ebookers support without any reaction. Will be the last time I used ebookers, I didn't think in 2016 spam would still be a method used by b2c companies.

The website is quite clear and the payment is easy. There is only a drawback that they charge 12 euros if you pay by a credit card.

I have booked a flight from Germany to the US. Ebookers offered the best flight connection at a good price.

Easy booking procedure.

The only thing I didn't like was added cost for credit card payment (+19 EUR). Other German websites show these cost at the very beginning before starting the booking process.

Overall, 4 stars.
