Do not use this company

I have had a similar experience to others. Placed an order with ecogreenstore, they happily took my money and sent me an email receipt for the order. A few hours later I had another email from them saying "Unable to fulfil the order and to contact my card provider for a refund" blah blah blah. I told them I had paid through paypal so they could just reverse the payment, they said they couldn't as they'd changed Merchant provider......what a load of bull...they haven't responded to any of my emails since, or my paypal invoice I sent them, so now I've made a claim against them. Complete fraudsters if you ask me and need trading standards set on them.

Disgraceful company

I have had similar experience detailed by other consumers, this company seem to offer reasonable prices and then do not fulfill the orders. Avoid at all costs.They always have 5% offers every month but this is a con as this is just a ploy to get people ordering from them. They also give you another 5% if you have left things in your basket overnight with a very nice email claiming they want to know why you did not finish your order. They also do not want to refund any monies on order not completed however you have paid. Trading standards should be looking into this.

Avoid this company at all costs!

I placed an order with Eco Green Store on 10 April 2015 and 3 days later received an email saying that my order wouldn't be fulfilled. No reason was given but apparently future order should still be processed via the website. My credit card company confirms that payment was taken from my credit card and of course since the bank had no reason to decline the transaction, they told me it was up to Eco Green Store to process the refund. I phoned the store repeatedly without being able to get through. Today, there was a message on their phone line saying that they would not be processing any calls. Scam! I will be reporting this to the Financial Services Authority

Unable to fulfil orders or give refunds

I ordered a large number of items from the eco green store on the 29th March. After one week I sent an email asking when I can expect the goods and I received a reply a few days later saying they were awaiting stock. Then on the 14th April I received an email telling me
"Unfortunately we are not going to be able to fulfil your order. Please in the first instance contact your card provider as they will action your refund."

So they took my money off the credit card, used the money for over two weeks before telling me to go through the long winded process of getting a refund through the credit card company which requires me to make a 5 minute phone call, fill in a detailed complaint form, post it and wait 30 more days for the refund. The Visa and Mastercard should refuse to serve this company. Avoid this company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS ECOGREENSTORE

Placed an order some time ago, they have taken the money and now are telling me they cannot fulfill my order and I will have to contact my card provider for a refund, however they add at the bottom of the e-mail that they are still taking orders on their website ! Looking at the other reviews this company shouldn't still be trading it's disgraceful, I certainly will be writing a few letters so that they are stopped from taking anybody else's hard earned money. Will certainly check reviews in the future before I hand my money over to any company online if they can get away with taking your money and not automatically refunding when they haven't got the goods but are still trading.

same issues everyone else is having

i ordered from this company on the 30.03.2015, the monies were taken from my account on the 31.03.2015. i contacted them yesterday 13.04.2015 as i had not recieved my order and had no feedback from eco green. i recieved an email saying that they could not fulfil my order and that i should contact my card provider and they would action a refund. i contacted my bank who said that they would not refund me as it is not an error on their part, which to be honest i agree with, they have passed all the relevant information onto the appropriate people. i have again emailed eco green and am awaiting a reply. this company should be avoided as they obviously do not care about their customers, i will not be using this company again and would not recommend anyone else using it. fingers crossed i get a refund at some point.

Avoid!

As others have found, Eco Green Store have very poor stocking. This would be bad enough, but it takes them some days after you've placed your order to tell you that they haven't got the items (and no offer of sending them on later, or of alternatives, just "We haven't got them"...), and then they can't process refunds(!). So you're left with no choice but to contact your bank or card issuer to claim the refund - with all the hassle that entails. Very, very poor.

Don't shop here!

As others have said... my first purchase went well, so I returned to purchase again from them. However, this time I was sent an email saying that they cannot fulfill my order. But instead of offering me a refund, they say I should take it up with my bank!

Don't fall for this scam!

I wish I had read the previous reviews for this company - I wouldn't have fallen for their scam if I had! Like many previous reviewers I placed a very large order (over £70) and then got a tersely worded (almost rude) email saying they were not going to fulfil my order! Needless to say they had taken my money! They said if I wanted my money back I had to ask my bank for it!
Having contacted my bank I don't see what else I can do as the firm do not accept phone calls (recorded message). My bank have kindly marked the amount as a 'disputed item' but the company have the money and it is worrying that this company can keep doing this to people without breaking the law.
I cannot understand the few 5 star 'good' reviews that are dotted in between the very many who have been conned by them. Perhaps they are friends of the owners?
We do not have a trading standards department in this county but I would think Norwich Trading Standards should look into them.

Don't buy from this company

I got the same email as previous reviewer. No stock and contact my card holder for refund. I had used them previously and delivery was extremely slow but guess they are now going out of business

Items out of stock, no refund - are they still there?

I placed an order for £30 mid Jan. When following it up, I receive a nice personal email which turned out to be a copy for resending. Apparently all 6 items are out of stock. For 4 months? No updates on the website? There should have been proactive communication and the offer of refunding the payment. When requesting a refund the lines go quiet. Seems like they've gone out of business (this is just a guess). A shame, as I had ordered without any issues for a few years. Don't use this service!

Something not right?

Ordered yesterday and paid via PayPal.got e mail from eco green today saying they will not fufil my order but offering no explanation why. I have now made PayPal aware seeking to stop the PayPal payment and opened a resolution

Awful Avoid Eco Store!!

As it seems others have had the same problem as me! Cancelled an order as no stock even though allowed purchase and ridiculous delivery times expected. Have chased for a refund but keep getting fobbed off. Now escalated to a PayPal dispute to try and get my money back.Stay away from these people :(

Still advertising out of stock goods!

I ordered some supplements from this online store and paid in full they didn't have them in stock and didn't contact me until I contacted them. After more than 3 weeks waiting I told them I wanted a refund I am still waiting for my refund of more than £40!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE!

You won't get your order

Terrible, terrible company. I placed an order which never came, contacted the seller who gave a lame excuse about being a small company (many such small companies manage to actually deliver items that have been paid for) then they promised to send the items immediately. They didn't so I cancelled and they promised a refund, which, surprise surprise, never came. Currently with Paypal dispute centre. Avoid at all costs!!!!
