Don't loose your money!

I've used ECO HAMSTER for a few years and have never had a problem. Up unitl now that is!
I brought and paid for my hair colour creams on 24th February, still haven't recieved my hair colour, and now the web site is down. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

annoying....

Wish I read all these comments before I ordered, I too ordered products in March 2013.
Got charged for them but havn't recieved any products. I tried leaving emails and ringing them but to no avail. Can't believe someone posted a comment about the same problems happening in January and yet the company were still taking money from innocent people in March. 2 MONTHS!!!!!! If they knew the company was folding then do the honest thing and STOP SELLING FAKE PRODUCTS!

Rubbish Service

Still waiting for my order to arrive after placing it over two weeks ago. No one answering the phone or replying to my emails, but they have taken my money. Trading Standards informed and I shall NOT use this scamming robbing company again!

A once decent company is now a total scam.

The ecohamster is dead in it's wheel! Looks like this firm went bust and someone else has taken over the shell of it. I had bought from this firm in the past but have just been robbed of £14 as I didn't receive any goods and they are completely unobtainable either by email or phone. Scam avoid like the plague!

Avoid this company

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! My experience sadly echoes many others' I have seen here. I placed my order Jan 2013, money was speedily taken from my account, but I never received any goods. I have repeatedly tried to contact Ecohamster via email and phone (nobody ever answers) and have now been in touch with Trading Standards. Absolutely ZERO customer service.

AVOID!!!!!

I really wish I had googled 'Echoamster' and seen all the poor reviews before wasting my £40. Like the previous reviewer I have allergies to regular hair dye and so have to use the semi permanent none PPD ones. I use lots of other websites like herbsgarden.co.uk & naturesdream.co.uk and have always found them quick to deliver or to notify me if items weren't in stock. Echohamster is a joke! I placed my order 3 weeks ago and have heard nothing. On the website it says to expect delivery within 5 days unless items are out of stock but they will contact you if this is the case. I have emailed numerous times to all the email addresses on their website but they don't reply! If you try to phone the number it's either engaged or just rings out. I just want a refund now and will never purchase anything off there again. I think the company must be in trouble. It just stinks that they continue to keep accepting orders/money from people with no intention of fulfilling the order. Take my advice and go elsewhere!

Terrible, Poor Communication and Untrustworthy - A Frustrating Experience

The only thing that this company was even vaguely efficient at was taking my money.

I have had the same issue as some of your other reviewers. I ordered two packs of Surya Henna Cream on 11th January, paid through Paypal, and still have not received the products. I have sent four emails requesting a refund and that somebody have the decency to contact me, and have had no reply except to one that was sent three weeks ago telling me that the product would be shipped when back in stock. What is even more galling is the fact that the products I ordered online are still readily available on their website. I have also tried ringing them and nobody has answered.

I am now in the process of launching a complaint through Trading Standards as the company refuses to communicate with me.

Do not, under any circumstances, do business with this company. I am beginning to suspect that they are either going under or are simply con artists. If, like me, you are limited to particular brands of dye due to skin allergies, there are a number of trustworthy and efficient sellers on eBay selling Surya (have had two deliveries that have arrived since placing this one).

I would have rated this company with zero stars as I have received zero service from them - which I think is fair, unlike how they have treated me. Unfortunately, this website forced me to issue them with one.

NO DELIVERY,NO COMMUNICATION

I ordered and paid through paypal,for two lots of surya henna cream,over two weeks ago.When it hadn't arrived a week later,i phoned and spoke to a man.He said that he would send some more out in the post the next day,which was good.Another week has gone by and still no hair dye.Im getting greyer by the day and dont know where to turn as im allergic to normal hair dyes,and have been using surya for a year now with great results.Ive been trying to phone ecohamster for two days now,and either get a busy tone or the phone just rings and rings with no answer.Ive left an email for them and got no answer.NOT HAPPY AT ALL.I must say that i have used ecohamster several times before and things have arrived ok,except on one occassion,and then they sent replacements out,but not this time.Wondering if the company is in trouble,but would just love some communication from them........

Poor communication - agree with previous negative comment

i have ordered hair colouring products on pre-order for weeks now. They still haven't had the item in stock - I am the one chasing Ecohamster to know if there was any progress to my order.

because of lack of communication, I have cancelled my order and requested refund. there was no reply from them, no apology - just an email from paypal that I have been refunded. Poor communciation which is a shame because in the past they have been quite good. And when you do phone ecohamster they answer the call but the gentleman who answered my call was miserable and unapologetic. Will take my custom elsewhere!

Brilliant Service - Fast Delivery

Having found this recent review for ecohamster I just had to reply, as it doesn’t reflect my experiences of purchasing from this company.
I have found ecohamster to be one of the most reliable sources for my hair dye, as I had a bad reaction to PPD, I had no choice but to use natural henna powder.
I phone my order though and generally receive the product 1 or 2 days later.

customer service lacking

I ordered a stereo last week, and checked when ordering that the item was in stock, as some other suppliers said the item hadn't been released yet. I was told that they would get it in and I'd recieve it Tuesday. It didn't come Tuesday. When I phoned I was told there had been a delay with the manufacturer, but I would get it Thursday. I phoned the day before just to check they'd posted it, but was told it would be at least another week. I never got an apology for waiting in. I was told that they don't bother phoning customers to let them know an item wont arrive on the promised date 'if it's just a short delay'. I haven't had a response to my email complaint. I've now cancelled my order, because I need reliability. This is a shame, as I'd like to support eco companies.
