Very bad website, terrible learning experience.

I am a 7th grade student using Edmentum's exact path service and saying I am disappointed is an understatement. It is very miserable to use and I always hate it when my teacher assigns it. There is no real learning. The "lesson" part of Edmentum is just reading a paragraph. It feels like trash to use and is just really one of the worst sites I have ever used. My math teacher decided to drop using the site just a week after we started because of the push back from my entire class. I feel very lucky that we had such an understanding math teacher the heard our complaints about Edmentum and stopped using it. I am very glad that I did not have to use it long term, and I will always remember this as the worst site I have ever used.

Not a good program

Edmentum is a education program founded in the 21st of April 2000 and based in Dallas, Texas. Edmentum is a soulless education software as most lessons or unit activities are barely creative and use copy and pasted learning materials. I first experienced Edmentum in 6th grade where I absolutely despised it and now as a high school freshman, I still despise the program. Another thing I hate about Edmentum is how tedious it becomes as you will experience a truckload of essay prompts throughout your time as an Edmentum user. One thing I do like about Edmentum is the self-paced activities as unlike traditional schooling, you can actually control your pace and what units to complete first. However, Edmentum still is flawed in everything else in it is tedious, bland, and uncreative.

do not take it for your sanity

edmentum is very bad I took Spanish over the summer for credit achievement and I learned literally nothing the way they teach is bad the biggest problem is that they think that you all ready know a Spanish word or rule but they did not even teach you it and what makes it worse I looked at the other reviews and the only 5 star reviews are people who are making fun of edmentum so parents and children stay away from this website.

If I ever have to use this program again, I'm quitting school.

Edmentum is the worst app/website that I have ever used. My school acquired it after my German teacher resigned, and so we were learning the language on our own using this program. The program is all reading/slideshow based, and it takes hours to complete the work, contributing to the fact that you have to complete multiple chapters in a week. Everyone in my class was spending hours and day trying to complete the work, and roughly 2 weeks later, everyone was just cheating in order to get a good grade. The program doesn't teach you shit, and I am genuinely concerned for the teacher who was grading my work. I'm so sad that I missed out on an entire semester of learning German because of this stupid flipping program. Don't invest! And all the characters looked like stock image photos. I think the hilarious photos were the only reason my friends and I got through this class. Flip you Edmentum. This program really ruffles my feathers.

Edmentum teaching method and inaccuracies

First of all, the way edmentum "teaches" is just a glorified slideshow(i used this for math credits during the summer). The entire lesson consists of just reading long blocks of text from a "tutorial." These tutorials do not have any videos so its hard to learn from them. The way they explain math concepts in the tutorials is also very convoluted and normally doesn't appear in the tests. Sometimes, the tutorials have blatantly wrong information or answers to questions so that also hinders the learning experience. It doesn't help that the tutorials are extremely long taking a couple hours to complete each of them. These tutorials also have activities in them which require certain tools. For example, an activity in the parabola conic section lesson requires a right triangle ruler. Most people wouldn't have materials like that and the program didn't specify to have those materials ahead of time. Even Khan Academy teaches better than this as it has better videos and tutorials and its free while I had to pay hundreds of dollars for Edmentum. You would think the paid, "premium" program would be better but no. Overall, stay away from edmentum and if you are required to use it, use brainly and AI for the answers.

Review from a middle school child

I am a middle school child I'm not writing this due to not wanting to learn I like zearn it's fun. Anyways I think it's super ironic how they say on Twitter sorry I mean X "keeping kids engaged is difficult in summer school here are a few tips". Like you can't be talking the only reason kids use your website is because we are literally FORCED TO. Calling this website a learning website is profound; at most it's a review website. they don't teach, when you fail the lesson it just makes you restart it without telling you anything. It's completely bland and 90% of the kids online are just doing a question when the teacher walks by.THIS WEBSITE SHOULD STOP GETTING FUNDED AND USED BY SCHOOLS!!!

Worst Education Website Ever

This was absolutely the worst education platform I have ever used. There were so many glaring inaccuracies in everything it taught, forcing me and many others to lodge complaints. Furthermore, it taught incredibly poorly, with little to no explanations for what went wrong and horrible, bland paragraphs comprising the entirety of the learning experience.

This is horrible

Ok, this website is horrible first off you DON’T LEARN ANYTHING I’ve been using edmentum for 4 years and I didn’t learn anything. I don’t know why schools pay for this. Another thing is that Edmentum is so glitchy there are bugs all the time and there not fixed in the same day, which I’m not complaining about. Many students in my school also agree that edmentum has not taught them anything. This program needs to be shut down most of this is focused on the exact path program of the website, but im sure that the other programs are just as bad. Secondly this website is just bad they make you write stuff for math. They’ve been holding family hostage for months and want a ransom of 500000 dollars USD please shut this horrid as website down or i will riot they force me to go to furry cons and wear fur suits i may as well just go to the
company building myself. I know where your at edmentum you can’t run. Ahem anyway there in Bloomington Minnesota I hate you edmentum
