If you need emergency care you can't…

If you need emergency care you can't fault it.
However there are no welcomes. No smiles and no introducing themselves anymore from the nurses.
Some staff appear unapproachable The doctors are better at this and were friendly and introduced themselves.
Remember nurses you are looking after someone's relative who is in a vulnerable position.
. A smile , introduction and welcome goes a long way in building a quick relationship with your patients and relatives
Maybe this is part of the reason this trust has issues
Being friendly is infectious change the atmosphere and it spreads to other areas.
Very sad to witness the misery it hasn't always been like this here

Appalling Hospital

Appalling Hospital! Appallingly run too.

The Hospital is dirty, often saw dried blood on the floor in multiple departments, even saw cleaners come along supposedly working & totally miss the dried blood,
staff don't listen to patients,
make patients feel they're not believed when they ask them things.

Staff just start putting their hands on patients without asking them or telling what they're going to do.

Zero space really in departments for wheelchair users & in private rooms too.

On one occasion they even forgot my partner was there on another they weren't even on the system, if I hadn't gone to ask staff for something they'd not have known.

Even had to chase up the surgical department on more than one occasion, one time we even found out my partner was Not on a list for surgery.

Diagnose people with Diseased Gall Bladder with Gall Stones, tell them they need surgery within the next 2 months on more than one occasion, then leave them for 3 & a half years suffering in Agony with it, just because Covid hit.

Then after Covid subsided the press go & report Hospitals are doing Cosmetic Surgery privately when patients are suffering in agony with something that could be life threatening at any moment.
